I don't know about tangled fur, my dog (15kg mixed breed) has medium-length fur and I don't have such an issue anyway. Also, she seems to really enjoy it; as soon as she sees it, she comes and stands still for grooming (the initial training with treats helped, although we don't continue them anymore). However, with the plastic glove I had tried before, we didn't have such good results (neither in hair collection nor in cooperation).
