I have it for 2 years, constantly disconnects, a big hassle and a waste of money, I do not recommend it to anyone... I bought 2 for 60 euros and it never disconnects, and this one with so much money keeps needing to start over every now and then... I do not recommend it to anyone for any reason!!
Amazing camera! I agree with my friends' comments! For me, the one negative is that it is not suitable for close distances because the lens is not wide-angle. And the second negative is that in order to recognize human presence, the person must be within 8-10 meters, unless you zoom in, which detects human presence even 100 meters away, but you lose even more visual field, which is already reduced without zoom!
Very good camera, the only downside is that if it is placed at a long distance, the motion detection doesn't work. It needs to be within 8 meters to work
The comments have been covered from previous, what I would like to add is that the application does not have push notifications in case someone simply unplugs it from the socket or there is no internet connection, you don't receive any notification and someone can enter your space undisturbed. I have installed several cameras ranging from 15-70 euros and they all had this notification when the camera disconnected for some reason they immediately sent a push notification. It is not reasonable for it not to have it at this cost, I hope they fix it with a firmware update.
The top model of Vstarcam. Excellent outdoor camera with very good motion detection software. It only sends push notifications if it detects a person. It ignores leaves, trees, etc. Also, the 18X zoom is fast and accurate. The lens is also very good. The only small issue is that at 1X zoom, the lens is not wide enough to cover narrow spaces (e.g. a balcony). The C34S-X4 or the CS65-X5 are better for such cases, but they do not have the image quality or zoom speed of the CS66Q-X18. You get what you pay for. I have had it installed for about 8 months and it has already endured a winter by the sea without any problems. The construction seems a step above the company's other models. Despite the high price (I bought it from Vstarcam's eshop at the same price it is currently being sold in Greece, but I had to wait for 2 months), it is worth the extra money if you need the additional features it offers.
