I don't know what the previous ones say, but the printer compared to the l1800 is simply garbage. If you try to print from the back door with cut paper, it gets stuck. It's not suitable for albums

Excellent printer, it accurately prints photos and compared to photo lab prints, the differences are indistinguishable, as far as 13x18 prints are concerned. I will come back when I print on larger paper sizes and different qualities.
Amazing printer.
It has 6 inks. 5 dye-based inks and one black pigment for text and photos (on certain papers) the pigment also participates. In other words, it uses dye on glossy photo papers.
It may be a bit expensive to buy, but you don't worry and then you can print even for fun in terms of cost. No comparison with printers with cartridges. You pay and then you HAVE a printer that your fingers don't hesitate to press print. The print quality is very nice, impossible not to satisfy the amateur photographer. The scanner is also very convenient. The printer's screen greatly helps in its usability and visually it looks very beautiful and modern.
Printing from mobile phones with Epson's program is very nice.
Expensive for a dye-based printer, but you save on ink if you print a lot. Very good print quality. The wifi connectivity is average as it is often not recognized by the computer.
I have been involved with photography for years and I always wanted a printer to be able to print my photos. After a typical research, I ended up with two models, a Canon which I eventually rejected due to the high cost of cartridges (8 different ones at about 50 euros each..) and the Epson L8180 with pigment inks and clearly lower prices for them (6 inks at 14 euros per bottle).
Let's get to our main topic, quality.
With the first A3+ print I made, I was amazed.. the colors, sharpness, and quality in what I print exceed all my expectations!
The speed for A3+ prints ranges from 10 to 15 minutes approximately.
A4 plain prints are immediate and it has the ability to print on both sides automatically with a small delay.
I haven't worked much with the scanner, but I don't think it's so great for high-quality scanning, but again, I haven't explored it enough.
The economy it offers in colors is very good, except for gray which it consumes at crazy rates.
To not bore you, the conclusion I have reached is that it is an amazing photo printer for semi-professional use, quite fast with very high-quality prints and very economical in its original inks and prints.
