It works fine and functions properly, but it sits a bit high. I don't see the reason for it to have such a large gap below the phone since it doesn't require a cable connected to the phone's charging port. If you place it in front of a computer screen, for example, and the screen is at a normal height, it will block it slightly and it's annoying.
