Purchased for professional use. While as a monitor, it is quite decent, after 9 months it started an annoying flickering which is present both on my work laptop (via type C) and on my personal computer via Display Port.
With a quick search online, this phenomenon is quite common in this model and it seems to be a hardware issue.
You can't easily get anywhere with the service and I'm still struggling. What a shame.
For a 400€ screen, it's unacceptable.

suddenly, as it started, it stopped; I’m keeping the 3 stars and if it comes back, I will write again.
The most important thing is that this screen is not intended for someone who simply wants a good screen to connect to their desktop, for example. It is aimed at people who want to use it as a unified hub to connect to their laptop and a second computer. For this use, it is quite impressive. With the KVM switch, you can connect your keyboard to the screen and automatically switch it to the computer that is currently being displayed. As a hub for the laptop, you simply connect a USB-C and you have video, audio (it also has a minijack output), Ethernet, and USB-A ports. The most impressive thing is that you can also connect a second screen with DisplayPort to the Dell (daisy chained). It should be noted, however, that currently macOS does not support this.
It is true that the base is not very stable. But it supports both vertical movement and pivot.
I would definitely recommend it for someone who can justify the high cost (e.g. a professional) and will use the hub functions for their laptop.
It is the 4th Ultrasharp with the previous one being the U2421HE.
Very good image quality (not exceptional as expected), slightly darkens at the edges, but not something excessively annoying. You get used to it immediately. Plenty of inputs, it solves your problem with a cable if you have a laptop that supports PD via USB-C.
Quality-wise: Below the previous series, a feeling of plastic that you wouldn't expect at this price range (the 2421 was a solid thing). Plastic base, if you don't have a completely stable desk, it moves, and if you try to change the tilt on the base, it creaks and you're afraid of breaking something.
We said cost-cutting, but they went overboard with it.
Recommended if the only thing that interests you is a restful image (I have it at 35% brightness and it is still very bright and comfortable for the eyes).
It does not have Comfort View in the menu (presets) like the previous one, but the tricksters did something and it's not bothersome (fantastic preset on the 2421).
If we exclude these stylistic and construction aspects, it is worth its money if you spend 8 and 10 hours in front of a monitor.
In use with a DELL XPS 13 laptop, it works flawlessly and charges very quickly. The resolution is ideal even for viewing at a short distance (60cm - 70cm). The built-in USB hub has a perfectly reliable and immediate response. Overall, it is a particularly high-quality and modern screen for office work with minimal wiring.
Simple tool....27-inch 1440p ideal for home office. KVM switch, USB hub, and very good image....what else can one ask for....it was on sale for 370-430 at some point....dirt cheap....worth it even at 500, you should know.
I have it next to a dual monitor setup on a 27-inch Dell 1080p and I'm pulling my hair out over the colors I was seeing all this time....but a 180 and a 500 euro monitor are completely different, logical.
Restful, clean, and with accurate colors image. Its bezel is very small and makes the experience even more enjoyable. The settings for the position have almost no limits and are very easy to adjust.
With USB-C for connection and simultaneous charging of the laptop, built-in hub, Ethernet, and KVM to connect more computers with the same keyboard/mouse, I think it's cable management heaven!
Coming from a 24" wide, I expected it to be bigger, but it is very compact. The color of the base and the back is silver and not white as it seemed to me at least in the photo.

The navigation lever in the menus is superior to the small hard buttons on older Dell models.
The one Type-C port provides 90W charging and image connection for laptop.
The front Type-C port provides 15W charging and is perfect for mobile devices. It also allows access to the mobile device from the laptop for file exchange or Samsung Dex through the laptop.
The third Type-C port does not provide power, only data. A Type-C to Type-A cable is included.
Consider four USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports and Picture-in-Picture/Picture-by-Picture modes.
