Very good build quality, exceptional sound in music where most others fall short. Very good for movies even though it is closed-back. One of my best purchases
Not being able, due to limited space, to place my expensive THIEL floorstanding speakers in the new listening room, I thought of "building" a 2.1 audio system for the first time, with the main speakers, in fact, mounted on the wall. So, my new subwoofer, my first one, is an SVS SB-2000 Pro. A compact design, in glossy white lacquer, which impresses at first sight, but impresses even more after the first listening sessions. It may not seem like it, but it digs relentlessly, provocatively deep into the acoustic spectrum, to the point where you wonder if it's worth getting something more expensive or bigger. It can be both awesome and aggressive in movies and voluminous and appropriately imposing in music programs. The corresponding app also enhances its usefulness, as it turns your phone into a fully-fledged remote control! The company's website is also beautiful, enriched with very useful tips and ideas. The representative here (Ultimate Audio) is very polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. And if you think that in your own large listening room it will probably be a bit small and not sound so huge, don't buy something more expensive and bigger, just get a second one! Have one for each channel!
