  Well, overall a very good monitor for gaming, with very good response time, good image quality, and deep blacks due to the VA panel, but... Like many others, the panel detached from the top sometimes, and sometimes it takes a while for the image to turn on and I don't know why... maybe it needs to warm up a bit... I also noticed recently some back light bleeding on black images... It will probably go for replacement or at least repair and I will reconsider... I have owned it for 2 years... bought it from Kotsovolos for 700... maybe I will switch to a G8 OLED.

  Unfortunately, my experience with the company was disappointing. The screen I purchased broke three times, and although the company decided to replace it, they did so with a credit for less money than the current value of the specific screen. As a result, I am at a loss of 200€+ because I have to choose between screens that cost 450€, which anyone can understand cannot have the technical specifications of this screen! This raises concerns about the honesty and quality of their products. I hope for future improvements in customer service as they simply played a cassette of the type "this is the decision" without trying to solve the problem, but also in their replacement policy. What a shame!

  After two years, I can say that it is the best monitor I have ever had and I hope it lasts me many more years. For those who had a faulty model, it's a shame, but since they change or fix them, there is no reason for such drama. The monitor is great for gaming and even for movies. It is comfortable and convenient in every aspect because you can adjust it however you want. Now... For the question that some people had and my own curiosity, of course, I searched and found out why there is such a price difference between the LC27G75TQSPXEN and the LC27G75TQSRXEN. The second one (which I have) has an eye safer function for eye protection, and that's why it consumes a little more power. I searched everything on the Samsung website and that's the only thing I found. So if you don't care about protecting your eyes, you can get the LC27G75TQSPXEN, which is also cheaper. Otherwise, you can get the LC27G75TQSRXEN, which has the protection but is 200 euros more expensive. Oh, I forgot to mention, the HDR is very good, but in the games I played (BDO - COD - Guild Wars), the image is amazing with smoother colors, but not more vibrant colors. So if you want to see intense colors, HDR might not be for you. I hope I helped future buyers a little bit.

  As a first impression since I have it for 2 days I really liked it, nice colors and very good black.
  What they mention about backlight bleed and show it in a photo, some do it only in a photo and depending on the angle you hold the phone the bright spots change.
  Personally, when I put a black background to check it, I see it completely black without bright spots.
  The only thing I will say is a problem is that it has a very deep plastic at the back, resulting in it not being able to go all the way back on the desk and remain very close due to a small desk.

  As a gaming monitor, it's great, no problem with the curve, it needs a desk with depth because the base takes up a lot of space and brings the screen very close, I didn't experience any flickering or scanlines, but in specific images (ROG Wallpapers) the monitor has electrical noise, coil whine that literally drives me crazy, because I'm curious about sounds. Also, its colors compared to nano IPS LG/Dell show washout, and those who say the opposite should see new fast IPS panels up close. I compare it side by side with the Dell S2721DGFA that I have, it has very good black color and contrast, I didn't see any difference in response from 165 to 240hz, only when I set the time to the fastest without adaptive, it seemed to have lower input lag. G-Sync with adaptive sync works without problems with Nvidia cards without tearing, it was tested on COD Warzone 2, Modern Warfare 2, Forza Horizon 5, Day's Gone, and it ran flawlessly at 4080 without stuttering or tearing. Brightness 17, black levels 11, sharpness 56, local dimming off, adaptive sync on, low input lag on, HDR off.

  The screen is perfect and its features are exactly as stated. I had the same issue with the panel detachment, but the support team knew exactly the problem and were very good and quick at fixing it.   If you want FLAWLESS image quality (in 10-bit of course), colors from another planet (as if it's OLED), the best response time even compared to more expensive models, minimal input lag, stunning curvature, you just have to get it with your eyes closed!!
  Yes, it's true that the panel may detach from the top side over time due to the "poor" adhesive used by Samsung, but this can be easily fixed by a suitable technician at a very low cost (20-30 euros), without the need to disassemble the entire panel.
  At 60Hz, there is indeed a slight ghosting, but it is so minimal that it doesn't bother at all and doesn't ruin the gaming experience!
  If you have a powerful graphics card, then you can play at 120Hz up to 240Hz MAX, and there you will see how smooth the motion is, as well as a significant reduction in the slight ghosting that occurs at lower framerates. Obviously, in Windows, you will play at 240Hz and be amazed!
  The friend who mentioned backlight bleed probably has a different monitor... The G7 that I own, properly calibrated, has a deep, pure black with no backlight bleed when viewed straight on, and only a small amount when viewed from the sides (due to the VA panel)!! I have only seen such blacks on mobile phones with AMOLED screens and OLED TVs...
  The stand is quite large, so you need to have enough space on your desk to use it without being bothered, but you can simply buy a good stand for around 30 euros and it will be the best solution.

At first, I was afraid that the reason it is cheaper than the other model (C32G74TQSR) was because it would only have G-Sync and not both G-Sync and FreeSync, but luckily I was wrong because it has both! Very good cable management, thanks to the extra plastic in the packaging, you can hide all the cables and nothing is visible! You should know that there is no HDMI cable in the package, only Display Port (DP)! For those of you with AMD graphics = FreeSync, to enable it, you need to do the following: Press the screen button once, move it backwards, select Menu> System> Display Port V. 1.2 or 1.4... not 1.1!! To set the Refresh Rate to 240Hz, do the exact same thing but with Display Port V. 1.1!! I first set the refresh rate to 240Hz and then adjusted the FreeSync Premium Pro! You can also adjust the height or rotate it vertically, which, if I'm not mistaken, the more expensive model cannot do! Finally, although insignificant for many, I should add that it has a setting for its lights (1 large one at the back and 2 small ones below the screen) in various color options (52 colors) or you can leave it on "Rainbow" or without color if you don't like it!

  There was an upgrade from AOC C24G1 144Hz to running with RTX 3080. As for the Hz, you won't see a crazy difference with the 144Hz (it exists, but not as much as the jump from 60 to 144). Huge curve, familiar from the previous one. In terms of colors, with proper calibration, it's like day and night compared to the previous one, even though both are VA panels. It requires adjustment from the Nvidia control panel to see its full potential (10-bit, full RGB). Tremendous brightness, moderate HDR, although as my first experience, it left me speechless when I tried it in games. Fortunately, it doesn't have any ghosting. Before making a purchase, it's good to have a powerful card to support it. For its price (470), it's the best available, completely satisfied with the purchase.

  Update AUGUST 2022: The panel detached at the top, as others have reported below. Samsung said to send it to the service center for repair at my own expense. Luckily, I had a contact who took it and brought it back. It's unacceptable for such a monitor to experience this issue.

  Owner of the SAMSUNG ODYSSEY G7 32" monitor and I would like to highlight the following issues with this specific monitor:

  1) The 10-bit color cannot be enabled instead of the 8-bit because the screen flickers multiple times per minute with this feature.

  2) When enabling ADAPTIVE-SYNC, the screen flickers in certain games and even on YouTube.

  3) With HDR enabled, the screen also flickers.

  4) I experience permanent horizontal lines on the top left corner in blue-orange letters or background. To check this, owners can visit the ASUS ROG website with wallpapers and test it themselves.

  5) When connecting a second source to the DISPLAY PORT, the screen flickers.

  I have tried many settings as mentioned by many who have similar issues on Reddit (there are also similar reports from channels on YouTube like HARDWARE UNBOXED) to fix the problems, and I found minimal improvement even with the latest firmware update, which is supposed to fix the flickering. My graphics card is the 3060ti and it is definitely not problematic as I have 2 monitors and when I use the second one, the aforementioned issues do not occur.

  I will be sending it to the service center within a few days, requesting a refund instead of repair/replacement because it is clearly a faulty series and SAMSUNG has acknowledged it. Please refer to Reddit with the search term "Samsung G7 issues" to read before making a purchase, which I do not recommend.
