  You love it from the first moment...
  Strictly for free diving or spearfishing...
  Fantastic function for the "recovery" time between dives.
  Easy to set up and very user-friendly log book.

  I used the D4 for years, which, although sturdy, had 80% of its functions for scuba diving.

  The hydrate function is great as we all forget to drink water and electrolytes during fishing.
  An extra plus is the battery replacement WITH A FLATHEAD by the user.

  Tip: deactivate the free dive function when you're not going for a dive and use it as a regular watch, otherwise the sensor never stops searching for water and drains the battery.

  Recently bought this watch! I bought it exclusively for spearfishing. From the first contact with the watch, you understand that you have an excellent diving tool in your hands. It is an excellent dive computer with great accuracy in temperature and depth. It has everything a freediver or spearfisherman needs. The settings are very easy to use and the manual in the packaging clearly explains the functions. It is also a "smart" watch and you can tell that as soon as you start diving, it starts counting. It fits very well on the wrist as a watch without tiring the hand. The strap and clasp are of good quality. The good thing is that you can also use it as a regular watch by locking the free mode for reduced battery consumption. Another plus is that by pressing the sel button for 5 seconds, the watch completely turns off. I would also like it to have an active temperature sensor both in and out of the water, but it doesn't have that. But that's a minor issue because the sensor works correctly in the water and shows the temperature accurately. Another plus is the quality of construction, as it is manufactured in Cressi's factory in Italy. It also requires the Cressi battery replacement kit, which includes a small flange. I am very satisfied with the quality-price ratio. It was purchased from Greece from an official retailer and comes with a 2-year warranty.

  I bought the watch exclusively for spearfishing. From the first moment, you understand its quality as it feels like a nice sports watch in your hand, apart from its use in the water.

  In terms of technical features: As a newcomer to underwater fishing, I wanted to see some basic things, and that's exactly what it does. In FREE mode, it starts and works on its own... and there you realize that it's worth its money. You don't need to press any buttons, the sensor understands the dive and starts recording the dive time, depth, temperature, surface interval time for the next dive, total exercise time (separating it into surface time and dive/ascent time). All this is stored in the file, which allows you to see the overall picture and the dive history. It also notifies you when you need to drink water, which impressed me because when it showed the "hydrate" indication, I indeed needed water. Each fishing trip is saved as a session, with the entire history. These are the things I have seen so far, and I can't find any reason not to recommend it. In addition, I would also mention the quality of construction, as it is made in Cressi's factory in Italy, and its price. It is not rechargeable, it requires the Cressi kit for battery replacement, which includes a small flange. Good dives!
