    The Red Cathedral is exactly what I was looking for. It's a relatively simple euro game in a small box that I always have in my bag and take out whenever I have the opportunity to play it. The decisions you make in each round, although simple in the rules, have enough strategic depth to keep me engaged without overwhelming my mind with what to do, so the rounds pass smoothly without even realizing it. I have a special love for the central mechanism on the board with the choice of the dice on the rondel. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys euro games.
