At the beginning of March 2012, Haris Nikolopoulos returns from Nafpaktos to Athens, when his mother is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's. He has missed the city and his friends, but nothing is as he left it. Through the nursing home where his mother is transferred, Haris meets psychologist Ioanna Konstantinou, who runs a shelter for abused women and victims of sex trafficking. The murder of the psychologist will be the catalyst for Haris to embark on a descent into the underworld, into the world of the homeless, the addicted, the girls who are expendable. A valuable ally in his attempt to uncover the murderer of the psychologist will be the young, eccentric but demonically determined police officer, Aida Mitropoulou.
