The GARDENA Bluetooth Irrigation Programmer conveniently configures your garden's automatic irrigation system using your smartphone or tablet. Thanks to Bluetooth®, the programmer can be set up within a range of up to 10 meters, for example, from the comfort of your garden lounger. A smartphone or tablet with iOS or Android serves as a practical remote control.
The Bluetooth® irrigation programmer offers a range of approximately 10 meters, within which an irrigation system can be easily controlled via the corresponding app.
The free GARDENA Bluetooth® App for iOS and Android turns your smartphone or tablet into a remote control with which the device can be easily operated and programmed step by step (requires at least iOS 12.X, Android 5.0, Bluetooth® Low Energy 4.0).
The GARDENA Bluetooth® App can program up to 3 independent schedules with different start times, durations, and frequencies. If needed, a seasonal watering duration and a rain break can be set by the user.
The central button allows you to start manual watering with automatic shut-off function.
The battery-operated irrigation programmer allows for easy connection and use. A 9 V alkaline battery (not included) provides approximately one year of operation time.

Easy installation, quality construction, and does exactly what it says. Settings from the mobile are very easy. It has not lost any programming so far. I believe it will work the same in the coming years.
The programming of up to 3 different programs from the mobile phone and via Bluetooth is worth every penny.
It works quite well, but unfortunately many times it loses its programming and starts watering in a different way than the one you have programmed.
A luxury for gadget fans like me.

If it proves to be as reliable as the other Gardena products I have, I will give it a 6th star!
P.S: I connected it with the Gardena watering sensor. It recognizes it but confuses it with the older Gardena model. Details, of course...
