The shadow of the economic and political crisis has haunted all of us. The transience of human relationships and the self-centered way of life have stripped us down. We now speak of a social and emotional crisis, as well as a crisis of values. Like everyone else, I stand as a spectator, watching angrily and helplessly as events unfold. In an era where, according to many, poetry does not have the appropriate resonance, my verses reacted, escaping from their silence and finding refuge in this book.

My first personal poetry collection, "Difficult Times," is not just an observation of what we are experiencing; it is a call, an effort to awaken and mobilize the reader to look not only around them but within themselves. I hope that this new journey of mine will find companions in all of you.
