An excellent camera for online conferences. Clear image and sound and easy adjustment to the laptop. I haven't tested it in low light conditions, but regardless, you can't have high expectations for this price. I highly recommend it.
For the money (16€), it's okay and for someone who doesn't have high demands, they just need a camera for quick tasks.
The resolution is very poor at 720p, and it has a bad response in low lighting. However, it is sufficient for use in meetings, but for YouTube/live streaming, it lowers the video quality. This is an expected evaluation for a €20 webcam.
Reliable, clear image, compatible with all teleconferencing systems and applications. Proven to be top-notch in terms of cost-to-performance ratio.
I purchased the aforementioned webcam in 2014. It is more than excellent for the very few money it costs. Excellent sound and image quality, both for video calls and recording.
I have been using this camera for three years now, the camera quality is satisfactory, the microphone is quite average, you need to be relatively close to the camera for it to pick up your voice.
The installation is very simple, you just connect it to your computer and it does not require the installation of any software to be functional. It has been used on computers with Fedora Linux and Ubuntu.
With an expiration date on it, without tampering with it at all, it sat on the screen and broke in the 4th year. It is recognized and tries, the LED lights up but the image never comes. It was tested on Windows 10, 11, and 7. It had decent quality, mediocre in low light.
I have been using it for almost 2 years for online meetings. The fact that it is 720p is also positive for me because it doesn't use much bandwidth. It worked directly on a Linux machine without additional software. The only negative thing is that whenever I used the built-in microphone, it didn't send good sound, so I always use headphones.
DO NOT GET IT FOR ANY REASON
I bought this one for about 20 euros but it should cost 5€! 720p resolution? Even Xiaomi's selfie camera has better resolution without exaggeration. Especially in low light + RGB led you can't see anything and if you do, it's full creepy. It's better to spend 10€ more and get another one, NOT 720p!
For as long as it was functioning, 3 years everything was fine, suddenly it malfunctioned, I uninstalled it and installed another one but it didn't work!
Overall, I have used 3 of these in the last few years and all 3 broke down without any justifiable reason.
I will be honest,,
The camera is very good and its microphone is very good too.
This camera is and will always be the BEST low budget camera on the market!
It is a bit blurry in the videos, but easy to install and practical. The built-in microphone works satisfactorily.
If you want a mediocre camera that will last a maximum of 2 years, you buy it.
All the things that other users have said about the expiration date are really true.
That's it.
The age of it is somewhat apparent. With a little more, you can get the Creative Live v2 which has a much better image and is 1080p (I also have it)
Very good camera, very cheap for its quality. It can't even be compared to microphones and cameras that are embedded in laptops.
It displayed discolorations from the beginning that could only be corrected by disconnecting it or after a long period of use... It is not worth its price...
Good image quality (although it lacks focus), no special software needed, and the microphone is very good. The price is also value for money.
We have purchased 25 of these cameras for use in a corporate environment exclusively for teleconferences and have not encountered any issues after 1 year of use.
Disadvantages:
On some (few) screens with thick frames, it does not sit well.
The placement on the top of the frame sometimes obstructs visibility.
The connection with the computer is problematic. When I open it and start a conference, they can't hear me, I have to unplug the USB and plug it back in. Always.
WARNING it does not have autofocus or manual focus!!!
If you need to provide some examination or generally to be identified with a video call - it will not be able to focus on the letters of the identification. I had a problem even with the tax office. If you want it just for video calls, it is more than enough.
For its price, it's fine. When I needed a second one, I bought the same one again.
I had bought it for streaming, but it wasn't the most suitable choice. It is not recommended for full screen streaming if you have serious expectations.
For video conferences, which I ended up using it for, and for online classes, it was fine. And the microphone is decent enough for emergencies.
Very good image without noise in technical lighting, good color reproduction and very good sound.
Full compatibility with win10 without requiring additional drivers ktl.
good only under satisfactory lighting conditions, it falls short in less light
also, although it has a good microphone and image, it is not at all wide-angle, so in video conferences you have to be a little further back than usual to be in the frame.
a simple camera that simply does its job.
Good camera with a pretty good microphone. The only downside is its price. If you look at the history, before 1.5 years ago (pre-Covid), it was priced at 16-17€ and now it's double that... Expensive and not even a new model...
I have had the camera for 15 months. It was working fine until 1 month ago on Windows 10 64-bit. Unfortunately, now, even though it shows that the light is on, it doesn't work. I tried it on three other PCs (2 with Windows 10 and one with Windows 7). I suspect that due to a Windows update, it doesn't work even though it is recognized by the PC. I replaced it with another camera of a different brand and it works fine. Since it has a 2-year warranty, I will take it to the store and see what's going on.
Eventually, the diagnosis showed that the camera was faulty and it was replaced under warranty. I also managed to get a CREATIVE LIVE!CAM SYNC 1080P WEBCAM on sale, which is cheaper and has better image quality. Only time will tell if it can withstand use.
Very good camera, I have it since 2014 and I still use it, it is very good. Now that I started doing live streams on Twitch and in low lighting, it is satisfactory. I am now thinking of switching to the c922 pro, but for use with Skype, Zoom, Webex, Viber, it is perfect
I have had it for more than 6 years, I bought it very cheaply, around 10-15 euros, and it still works without any problems until today, and logically it will continue for several more years. The only downside is the short cable
I have bought three, it is reliable, simple, and immediate solution to the camera microphone issue. Webex, gaming, Skype, etc., all perfect.
Very good camera for its price! If you're not looking for perfection, it's just what you need for Zoom. One positive aspect: It doesn't have a wide view, so you can't see the entire room. It has enough zoom, so it frames the speaker nicely.
I bought the camera in October 2019. Back then, I got it for exactly 21.99 euros from a well-known computer chain. I saw its price go up to over 60 euros!!! It is a very good camera, very easy to use, you don't need to have computer knowledge. You simply open the Windows camera application and it's there... Tested on webex, Skype, etc. It has a base like an open "clamp" that stands, easily attaches to a laptop screen or TV. You can make small adjustments as to where it looks, but they are limited. For a price up to 30 euros, I give it 5 stars. It is well worth the money I paid. I recommend it.
