The speakers TAV-806S from the company Taga Harmony Characterized as bookshelf speakers because they are placed on a shelf or special base, which is sold separately. In this category usually belong the main speakers of a sound system, but due to their small size they can also be used as peripherals for better sound simulation. The power and impedance of them are 90W RMS and 6Ω respectively, which means they can be connected to an amplifier with the corresponding characteristics. This is a speaker 2 way, meaning the sound frequencies are reproduced by two speakers, one tweeter for the high frequencies and one woofer for the low frequencies.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Bought them to use as front weight speakers, hung them up, and completed my home cinema. All my other speakers are Klipsch, but I decided not to buy Klipsch again because my space is small and they don't do anything special, just complement the 3D sound. I downloaded them out of curiosity the other day and played them on the amplifier by themselves in stereo, and I didn't expect speakers with such a price to impress me so much. My regular speakers are the Klipsch RP-8000, so I know good sound. And because I had something else for the surround sound, I thought I'd get two of the same to put in the back. Honestly, they are worth their money and more, and they are also beautiful speakers. So, for someone who wants a speaker for a small office or to create surround sound on an 11.2 amplifier, it's perfect. And in the end, the Klipsch ones cost four times as much, so not even close. I don't know if I helped anyone because I'm just saying exactly what it is, and they can ignore my review if it didn't help. I say it and will continue to say it simply and as it is because if I explain with measurements, distances, and what they did in calibration, an ordinary person won't understand what I'm saying. The most important thing about this speaker is that I set my amplifier (Denon 6700H) to zero, and there was no distortion whatsoever
I bought them to replace the 2 front L+R 3-way floor pioneer speakers....no comparison in size, philosophy, and intensity in music, the pioneers were very powerful...but...here I did something different...harmony 806s...I raised them high...so the sound travels better inside the living room, around 18-20 sq.m....in combination with the sub as small and 2.1 in music, they are quite satisfactory...the speakers, from what I understood after months, probably needed some breaking in since in the beginning they didn't have intensity and the midrange was nonexistent...over time, I see that the midrange has cleared and separated from the highs...my sub now complements correctly since I found a better setting (I had the pioneers set as large and the situation was confusing)...the big difference that I saw and was worth the change is in movies, the effects are 100% better since the speakers are suspended and the sound travels better...in summary, they are okay for music, although they lack a bit of the unlimited intensity that I had with the pioneers...I gained in space, they have better quality at normal to low volumes, and in movies, they are simply amazing...I would have liked 1 inch more in the mid frequencies due to being used to the 8-inch ones...in any case, you can't have it all...for movies, I choose 5.1 on the pioneer amplifier...in any case, they are worth every penny until the last dime
