Description

Ceramic Cooktop

The Boxiya burner is ceramic with a smooth glass surface, which turns red when heated. It heats up very quickly and evenly thanks to the heating elements located beneath its surface. Additionally, it is easy to clean, as all you need to do is soap it with a damp sponge after it has cooled down. Then rinse it until all food residues are gone.

Easy to Use

Its operation is very easy as it features touch buttons to select the desired function, while the settings are made via a rotary switch. 

It has 7 cooking options so you can choose the one that suits your needs. 

Timer

Electronic timer that automatically shuts off the burner at the end of the desired cooking time. The cooking time can be set for up to 99 minutes. 

Cooking zone dimension & power

The diameter of the cooking zone is 17 cm with a maximum power of 2200W.

    As long as it worked, it was good, relatively powerful compared to some others, but still it took over 30 minutes to boil a pot with 4 liters of water to cook pasta, and the water would gently simmer instead of boiling vigorously.

    For heating or light cooking, it was fine. The timer is very useful, you set it and forget about it.

    However, after 2 years, it suddenly burned out yesterday. It had a small explosion internally and produced an internal flame that could be seen through the glass! Luckily, I was nearby and pulled the plug from the socket, as it could have caused a fire in the house! I opened it up since it's going for recycling, and I saw how cheap the materials inside are. Avoid such cheap constructions to prevent accidents.
