    vfm strings.
    I bought them for 6€ for practice.
    The sound is fine (I didn't notice a big difference compared to, for example, d'addario). They have been worn for 4 months and still maintain their sound to a great extent.
    The only negative is that the 3 bass strings are more "rough" on the fingers compared to others.
