Purchased on 11/4/21, at a final price of €231 for the tray version. I was between this one and the Ryzen 5 3400G, but I ended up here due to the extra 2 cores. The system hosting it is:
Case: Be Quiet Pure Base 500Dx with 2 * Be Quiet Pure Wings 2 at 140mm in front (intake) and 1 * Be Quiet Pure Wings 2 at 140mm exhaust at the back (pre-installed with the purchase of the case).

Monitor: old HD TV until August, Dell P2419H from September 1st onwards.The use of the system involves school work (Computer Science) on Ubuntu, Kali Linux, and Linux Mint through Virtual Machine, Matlab, extensive use of Visual Studio, Android Studio, Unity, Photoshop, 3DSMAX. Simple daily use (Browsing and Office), Gaming daily for about 4 hours, but also more "heavy" use from time to time with multiple Virtual Machines (for OS testing).
The processor dynamically allocates about 1GB from the system's RAM for the integrated graphics. This can be changed from the BIOS, personally I have allocated 2GB, the maximum value allowed due to the motherboard. In any case, with this setting, Windows effectively reads 14GB RAM available from the 16GB I normally have. With this tweak, I saw an improvement in FPS in games, with nearly double FPS many times. For example, I will mention FPS in games with their graphic settings:
Euro Truck Simulator 2: Medium, ~48FPS
American Truck Simulator: Medium, ~62FPS
BeamNG.Drive: Lowest, ~90FPS (but it drops with more vehicles you spawn).
Forza Horizon 4: Low, ~60FPS the version from the Microsoft Store, the version from Steam was Unplayable.
Mafia: The city of Lost Heaven: Highest, ~100FPS
Mafia Definitive Edition: Lowest, ~28FPS
Mafia 2: High, ~60FPS
Mafia 2 Definitive Edition: Medium, ~50FPS
Mafia 3: Low, ~40FPS
Infinitode 2: Ultra, ~120FPS
PC Building Simulator: Lowest, ~30FPS
Star Trek Online: Low, ~45FPSThe maximum power consumption of the processor in Gaming was at 59W (from 65W TDP).
In terms of performance, the processor works comfortably for anything else apart from gaming, rendering, and VMs, up to about 15-20%. If the RAM fills up and swap starts, that's another story...
Regarding operating temperatures, in "normal" daily use, not gaming, renders, and VMs, it operates at around 34 degrees, with spikes up to 45 degrees. In Gaming -depending on the game- it ranges from 46-59 degrees, while in Rendering it reaches up to 60. In a 10-minute stress test, it was consistently at 62 degrees with all the case fans running close to 100% of their speed. All of this with the HD TV. After the installation of the Dell P2419H, the temperatures rose to 37-38 degrees idle and up to 60 in Gaming and Renderings.
*** The measurements were taken with a room temperature of 23 degrees, in mid-June.
I believe it is worth the money and then some. Surely it cannot replace a graphics card of the class GTX1660Ti or RTX2060 or RTX3050, that was not the purpose of its construction after all...
Edit 20/12/21: On 30/11/21, I proceeded to purchase the Sapphire Radeon Pulse RX 6600. Since then, I changed any settings made in the BIOS for memory allocation for graphics, so I now have the entire capacity of the RAM available (15.9GB, about 100MB is Hardware reserved). The changes in the overall system response are negligible, except for programs that use graphics and games, where the improvements are enormous (as expected). The boot time increased by about 1.5-2 seconds (now 7.4" from 5 before the graphics card). The processor now works more calmly, at 29-32 degrees idle and up to 54 under load with a room temperature of 21 degrees. Also, the maximum consumption of the processor has dropped to 52W now.
Edit 08/06/22:
- During the last Easter, I proceeded to purchase 2 additional RAM modules of the same series (Kingston HyperX Fury 3200MHz RGB) and now I have a total of 32GB RAM installed in the system. The problem is that it no longer allows me to enable XMP and thus the memories run at 2400MHz. I haven't noticed a difference in games or the overall system response, but it's a "stab" when you think that you're paying a bit more for 3200MHz compared to 2400MHz... I won't deduct a star from the rating, as I don't know where the problem might be (CPU, Mobo, PSU), however, I thought a potential buyer might want to know this.
- I noticed power spikes up to 72W in specific usage scenarios, which is a bit concerning since the processor has a TDP of 65W. I saw this after a video conversion from one format to another using Handbrake, as well as in the games Forza Horizon 5, Bioshock Infinite, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. I should note that despite the power spike, the temperature was at relatively normal levels with a maximum of 62 degrees and a room temperature of 29 degrees and humidity of 52%.Translated from Greek ·- Speed

Purchased at 200 tray, meaning without a cooler. Installed on Gigabyte b550 DS3h with 16gb Crucial 3600cl16. For cooling, I used the Wraith prism from the 3800X. With stock settings, it gave me 520 single core in CPU-z. Overclock only through the bios, Ryzen Master doesn't open. Along with a power supply box, the whole system came out to 500€, the same price as a used 1070.

I wouldn't say that I'm an expert on processors, so I'll simply share my usage experience.
I bought the processor trying to build a powerful system that would have some longevity, a good performance-to-price ratio, and be able to support games with onboard graphics (for now). I think I couldn't have made a better purchase. After researching benchmarks and comparing onboard graphics from various models of Intel and AMD, I concluded that this would be the ideal one for me until GPU prices return to normal.
After 3 hours of gaming with Dragon's Dogma (2016) on medium-high graphics, the temperature remained at 34 degrees. Obviously, we're not talking about a demanding game, but I was very satisfied with its performance. Plus, through the BIOS, you can allocate more RAM to the onboard graphics. Personally, I allocated 4GB.
Certainly, a hardcore gamer will see my comment and laugh (and they would be right), but I just want to emphasize that with the right configuration, the processor can meet several needs.

I bought the tray version for 220. I am completely satisfied with its performance. Obviously, one buys it for the integrated graphics. Even in stock, it has perfect temperatures and its power consumption does not exceed 65W TDP. It is mainly intended for light games, such as LoL, Minecraft, and some silly Steam games like Fall Guys, etc. If you are going to buy RAM, go for at least 3600Mhz as it greatly helps the integrated graphics.

In stock, with its own boost, it is not demanding in terms of cooling since it has a monolithic design (meaning the chip is unified, in the center). Also, it is not one of the best bins, so I didn't achieve anything more than its stock boost with overclocking. By default, it reaches an immediate boost of 4.3Ghz (with 1.4125v) but in all-core, it reaches 4.15Ghz. With OC:
- 4.2Ghz @ 1.3V (after 2 hours of Prime 95), Prime 95: 88Watt, CR23: 58W (9233pts)
The 4.3Ghz all-core is not stable at 1.4V, so I resorted to CCX OC (1.4v)
- CCX0 4.25Ghz
- CCX1 4.30Ghz
after 1 hour of Prime 95, Prime 95: 97W, CR23: 68W (9327pts)
With a flat LLC (known as vdrop), the OC remains stable at 1.288V and 1.388V respectively. With the Scythe Fuma 2, the 4.3Ghz OC endured with maximum temperatures of 87°C in some momentary 105W loads.
I didn't even bother with 4.4 Ghz...For the integrated graphics, I managed to achieve 2300Mhz @ 1.15V, with minor gains (max +10%).
- Conclusions:
For those who have the stock cooler from AMD, if it heats up quite a bit, I would recommend lowering it to 4.2Ghz with approximately 1.3V voltage. You will see significant differences in temperatures and noise, and almost no loss in performance.
If you plan to keep the processor for a long time, save money on cooling (either with the stock cooler or an Arctic 34) and INVEST IT IN RAM!

A fine little monster from AMD. 6 cores, 12 threads, fits perfectly on an Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming motherboard with performance almost identical to the 3600. Now that graphics card prices have skyrocketed, its graphics card is quite decent. It's perfect for browsing, watching movies, and light gaming. The only thing I would like is a bit more VRAM for the graphics card, not just 2GB. Purchased for 205€ + (AMD cooler) along with shipping,
comes in a box with 5 fans at 1200rpm.
Temperature stays at a constant 30 degrees Celsius while browsing,
while in gaming (warzone) it ranges from 45-50 degrees.
Although it has Radeon Vega 7 while the 3400G has vega 11,
the 4650G has slightly better performance due to being a 6-core processor.
The integrated graphics allocate 2GB of RAM, but this can be changed in the BIOS to allocate 4, 6, or 8GB of VRAM for better performance.
Essentially, you are getting a 3600 (with less cache) which costs around 180$,
so it's like paying an extra 20$ for the integrated graphics.
At 200$, it is definitely value for money and futureproof.
In Warzone, with 2GB VRAM, it runs at around 45fps on low/disabled settings,
while with 6GB VRAM, it runs at around 65fps on low/disabled settings,
and around 55fps on normal/disabled settings with some high settings (which is impressive).
Sometimes it experiences black screen issues on normal settings, which is expected in such a demanding game.

I got it as a replacement for a Pentium G3260 with an RX570 8GB graphics card. I paired it with a Gigabyte B550M Aorus Pro-P motherboard and G.Skill RipjawsV 16GB DDR4-3200MHz (F4-3200C16D-16GVKB) memory, without the use of an additional graphics card. It was expected to have much greater processing power (I can't get the CPU to go above 10%) but what impressed me was the performance in integrated graphics. FPS increased by 50% in all benchmarks. It is locked, however, the memory can play at higher settings through the BIOS. The negative aspect is that you can only allocate up to 2GB for the integrated graphics card.

The best thing available in February 2021 for a CPU at 220 euros with integrated graphics, especially considering the currently prohibitive pricing of all graphics cards on the market. The best option right now for those looking for processing power similar to the R5 3600 and graphics similar to the GT 1030.
