This Automatic Hose Reel saves you from the tedious winding, dirty hands, and hose tangles. Mounted on any wall, your garden hose is stored safely and saves space.
For use, simply pull the 25-meter hose to the desired length. Once you stop, the extremely short locking points hold and secure the garden hose. Thanks to the practical wall-mounted support base, the reel cylinder can rotate 180° and follow your movements in the garden. This way, you can easily complete your watering, have maximum freedom of movement, and the hose does not kink. No bending or winding is required to wrap the hose: a light pull on the end of the hose is enough to release the lock. The high-quality steel spring inside the reel automatically winds the hose reliably and evenly for you.
This allows you to water every corner of your garden flexibly and without creating knots. After use, the automatic reel can simply be folded back to the wall to save space.
The hose automatically locks into place at the desired length thanks to the integrated short locking points. This way, you can easily complete your watering and have maximum freedom of movement.
The Automatic Hose Reel RollUp M/L features a wall-mounted bracket, a 25-meter watering hose, a connecting hose, all necessary OGS GARDENA watering connectors, and a nozzle with two different spray options.
With a light pull of the hose, the built-in steel spring is activated and automatically and reliably rewinds the hose. The RollControl technology ensures slow and safe retraction, regardless of how far the hose has been unwound. This innovative technology ensures safe and controlled retraction.
Thanks to the built-in hose guide, there are no knots or tangles during rolling, preventing damage to your garden hose. With the hose tap connections from the original GARDENA system, you can flexibly extend the hose or connect other watering accessories. The GARDENA hose accessories are always ready, can be secured under the wall bracket, and stored there to save space.
The Automatic Hose Reel is protected from UV radiation and is frost-resistant. This means it can be used in all four seasons.
Additionally, thanks to the theft protection, the reel cannot be stolen and can only be removed from the wall by you.

Whatever you say is an understatement.. extremely useful.. it stands the test of time.. it lasted the season with daily use, but given that it is Gardena, I believe it will perform well..

Excellent operation of the mechanism, quality rubber, and satisfactory pressure. It seems to have a quite durable construction. However, it is quite expensive for something that you used to buy from Leroy for €40 ten years ago, although not in this quality. The problem with these is that over the years, the plastic cover deteriorates from UV radiation, the spring of the mechanism loosens with use, and it does not retract the rubber. Both of these characteristics appear after years, so I cannot currently evaluate the reliability of the product.

It does its job perfectly fine. The collection mechanism seems sturdy and works like the vacuum cleaner's cord - it pulls everything back with a sudden jerk. As for durability, time will tell - I've only had it for 2 months.
The base was a bit difficult to install because, due to its shape, I couldn't stabilize the level on top of it while marking the holes on the wall
So far it works fine, coming from a similar product from Hozelock (the mechanism broke after 4 years without being repaired) I am skeptical and will wait for the future to show the smooth operation of the winding and unwinding mechanism. Otherwise, good quality Gardena.
