Description

Press Singer Vive La France with a power of 2200 watts and steam production of 120 grams per minute for excellent ironing, while it can reduce ironing time compared to conventional ironing systems. It features an electronic safety and temperature control system as well as a safety lock for easy transport and storage.

Ironing pressure: 45 kg

By lowering the upper plate of the press, the garment automatically receives 45 kg of pressure. Thus, with a single movement, you achieve a perfect result on both sides without any shine on the clothes from friction as happens with a steam iron.

Electronic safety and temperature control system

Electronic safety system, which automatically cuts off power with a simultaneous audible warning, in case the heated plate is left closed.

Safety lock for easy transport

It features a lock to secure the upper heated plate with the lower plate to facilitate transport and storage.

Easy storage

The steam press has a smaller volume than an ironing board and can be stored either horizontally or vertically.

I have been satisfied. I had an older model and I have become familiar with its usage. It saves ironing time. The sheets are better ironed, like professional ironing. No problem with the product

I bought this iron a month ago, and I even used the installment program with tbi through Skroutz (I prefer buying through Skroutz because it provides a reliable guarantee for online purchases, ensuring that any issues will be resolved quickly and easily). Clearly, the models available in Greece are outdated technology, and it shows when the only thing that is more advanced is the water tank capacity and a filter for salts. Someone might argue that I am exaggerating because the steam quantity is greater... but they are clearly fooling us because the steam system is problematic: it leaves stains on the fabric that resemble rust (see the photos) and, of course, it gets wet from the supposedly large amount of steam (ridiculous). I have had it for a month and have used it no more than five times, and the steam stopped working after the first three uses, without me doing anything wrong since I read the instructions thoroughly, used only demineralized water, and even tried a borrowed iron to understand how it works. In fact, that iron, which is over 10 years old, also didn't produce steam, so I assumed it was due to its age... A search abroad will show you the irons available there. No comparison... it's like they are selling us stock from the 90s. The next option in Greece is from a Swiss company, but it costs 200-250 € more, even on sale! I give it two stars because the ironing itself is quite effective, but without steam. If you look without the fabric, the steam comes out from two holes in that central metal piece with the black screw, as you can see... it's nothing like what we would want... meaning a wider distribution on the ironing surface. Irons are very convenient devices, especially for children's and baby clothes, which is why I bought it. However, here in Greece, I feel that if you don't pay by selling one of your kidneys for an iron... let's say 700€, you won't have an iron! That's why, even though I contacted Skroutz for a return, I won't do it because I can't afford something more expensive, and I'll stick with this faulty product that still irons satisfactorily, albeit without steam. Even if they repaired it or sent me a new one, the steam, as it currently comes out, doesn't satisfy me. In the more expensive models of the other company, the steam comes out from multiple points on the top plate, similar to irons. That's why people don't buy irons in Greece because they simply offer outdated technology at not a good price. I paid around 280€ with shipping. In one word... disappointment!

First of all, before you buy it, you must definitely find a way to be able to try it extensively in order to make sure that it suits you and that it will iron faster than with a regular iron.
In the end, it didn't suit us and gradually... we gave it up and now we continue with a regular iron...
The amount of steam that comes out is not satisfactory (and cannot be adjusted). It is certainly more economical in terms of consumption of demineralized water, but what can you do when you don't have the steam you want.
The cloth will get dirty immediately (stains like burning), but the clothes being ironed do not get dirty.
Also, several types of fabrics are simply... impossible to iron (the creases do not straighten out at all).
We, certainly regretted the purchase, as it didn't suit us either...

Wasted money. A good iron is better and cheaper. Apart from the delay for the steam to work, it hardly straightens any wrinkles. Also, irons in this category have a very small plate as a surface, so you constantly have to change positions on the clothes, causing further delay. Truly wasted money, what a shame. Maybe a different category, if someone can afford to spend more money.

Very satisfied with the purchase of the Singer press. And the previous one I had was also Singer. I would highly recommend it. It's worth its money.

I have had it for seven years, very good because it saves time. In the last six months, it started to have some problem with the steam, so I will send it for service. If it cannot be repaired, I will buy the same one.

Easy to use, with a soft movement of the arm.
