Despite its small size (compared to more "classic" categories of 21-24 mm), the Simpson's Special managed to produce abundant lather effortlessly, even demonstrating its capabilities with hard soaps. The - Pure - badger bristles leave a wonderful sensation on the face, with sufficient backbone and comfortable lathering, surpassing my expectations compared to the Best/Silvertip brushes of other brands. The construction quality is excellent, and the shedding of bristles is imperceptible (or close to zero). In conclusion, I recommend the Simpson's Special to everyone! Don't be deterred by its size or the Pure Badger category (if you're accustomed to others). You will truly enjoy it...!
