The LED bulb that, apart from being economical, will make your home a bit smarter! Through your mobile or tablet, it can connect to your space's WiFi network, allowing you to control it remotely, without needing to go to the switch or be at home. Supports connection with the smart ecosystem of Google Home, Alexa (Amazon), giving you even more possibilities, such as turning it on and off with your voice. Apart from being smart, the bulb simulates the form of filament, making it an ideal choice for upgrading the aesthetics of your space to a more retro style. Also, the brightness can be adjusted to different levels, allowing you to adapt it each time to your needs, whether you need low lighting or more intense. The warm color of the bulb is closer to that of fire which will give a warm feeling to the space that will help you relax. This particular bulb if placed alone is capable of sufficiently illuminating a μικρό χώρο, περίπου 7 τ.μ.. It can replace an incandescent από 59 μέχρι 65 watt or a halogen από 35 μέχρι 39 watt, maintaining the same level of brightness in the space.

I tried it specifically for use with Home Assistant. Generally, Shelly as a company has a good reputation for designing compatible products, and this is no exception.
As for the setup, it is very simple. You connect to the access point created by the device, access the web interface through a web browser, and enter your WiFi credentials. Then, you do the same from your own WiFi network and update the firmware.
If there doesn't seem to be a firmware update available, it means that the firmware is very old and the update needs to be done manually. To do this, you will need to use the Shelly Firmware Archive Link Generator from the following link: http://archive.shelly-tools.de/.
Please note that the firmware update is necessary, otherwise the device may not be detected by Home Assistant.
It is worth noting that the device provides 2 hidden power and energy entities in Home Assistant. The device itself does not have the hardware to measure consumption. However, it returns a virtual value that is derived from the intensity setting. This can be very useful, especially if you have multiple such lamps and want to monitor the overall consumption of your devices.
