With the appropriate treatment, my dog's issue was resolved. I continue it preventively for a second month.

Our 11-year-old large dog started experiencing incontinence, without any infection or tumor. It was simply due to age-related wear and tear, which caused a chronic cystitis, as the bladder does not completely empty and its muscle tone/capacity has decreased. At first, we added an extra walk to his already two walks to help empty the bladder, but it didn't work. We tried other pills, but they didn't work either. With Urinovet, it took about a month to see a difference, but they really helped prevent him from "leaking" drops or "puddles" every now and then in the house. Also, his bed pad stays dry (it used to be wet and needed changing throughout the day), not to mention the endless cleaning. Now, at most, he may have a few drops during his sleep in the pad. However, as soon as I give him the pills, I am mindful because apart from detoxifying, which helps prevent bacteria from sticking to the bladder walls and causing irritation, they are also diuretic. So, ideally, I give them to him half an hour before his evening walk. He really likes the taste, he can eat them whole (he chews them a bit) or mixed in his food. It is, of course, a considerable expense, as he takes 4 pills a day due to his weight, but since they do the job and obviously relieve the dog... it's worth it.

P.S. I wrote the details so that no one thinks it's a magical pill for all conditions; I am talking about our dog with this specific symptomatology.

P.S.2. A year and a half later, at 12 years old, the dog, the 4 pills gradually became 3, then 2, and now only 1 every night, and even this 1 is still effective.
