My review is based on about a month's experience with this case, while I have had the Smart Keyboard Folio (SKF) from Apple for 2.5 years. The reason I decided to try this solution was that the SKF had started to show its age (the stitching on the sides was opening in some places and it had unsightly marks on the exterior surface). On one hand, you could say "OK, 2.5 years of significant use," but on the other hand, it was a "€240 case" (By the way, Media Markt has it at almost half the price compared to everyone else during this period. It made me seriously consider getting a new one instead of the Dux Ducis, but in the end, I chose to try something new). So, about the case:
    * The case tightly embraces the iPad Pro 12.9", to the point that 1-2 times when I wanted to remove it, I struggled a bit. Maybe not good for constantly taking it on and off, but definitely good for the device's safety! It also attaches (magnetically) quite well, without fear of it opening and protecting both the pencil and to some extent the sides of the iPad (which the €240 Apple case does NOT do - unacceptable). The downside is that it is definitely heavier than the Apple case, resulting in the whole thing weighing a little more than I would like to carry around with me everywhere in the house. Another negative is the presence of only one "step" for supporting the screen, which is not very stable on soft surfaces and practically cannot be used if you are reclining and it "rests" on your legs.
    * The keyboard is Bluetooth, as only Apple cases are "allowed" to use the iPad's smart connector to receive power and have better keyboard response. It connects quickly to the device, and after 15 minutes of inactivity, it goes into standby mode. However, with the press of a button, it quickly returns to normal operation - it never gave me the impression that it was slow or that I had to wait for it to connect.
    * The buttons are not of exceptional quality, and several times a button press does not transfer to the screen. Perhaps the Bluetooth connection has some limitations on typing speed? I have noticed, though, that it is better to type with the case on a relatively hard surface, something I did not need to pay attention to with the SKF.
    * The additional feature it has, which makes it comparable to Apple's new Magic Keyboard, is the touchpad. In general, I have found it to work very well, managing to achieve the desired gesture every time. Sometimes I accidentally touch it while typing, so I have to temporarily disable it (quickly and easily, with a combination of buttons). This is probably due to lack of familiarity and will likely go away over time.
    * Finally, the buttons on the top row are quite interesting, allowing you to quickly perform tasks such as adjusting volume and brightness, locking/unlocking the screen, etc. I don't use them often, but they work very well.

Overall, I can say that this case definitely cannot beat Apple's Smart Keyboard, which, however, costs 9-10 times (!) more than this one. For its price, it is a very "honest" solution that does everything to a satisfactory degree.

In conclusion, I would like to mention an issue I encountered that almost made me return it and may help someone else not to do so! For about 20 days since I bought it, I hadn't charged it because it still had the initial charge. At some point when I went to pick it up, I noticed that it wasn't responding. Thinking that the battery was the problem, I plugged in a USB-C cable (from the iPad) and tried to charge it. After several hours with no response, I tried again with its own cable (from the package) and -miraculously- the charging light turned on. The instructions said it would blink, but for me, it was constantly lit, but that's okay. I try it again after two hours, still nothing! The accompanying document said to try resetting it by pressing the reset button with a pin. Since the button is inside the keyboard and I would have to pierce the surface, I tried (thinking successfully) to press it with the head of the pin. Still, nothing happened and I started looking for ways to return it. When at some point I said, "I'll turn it around, where am I going to turn it around, I'm not going to do what it says and pierce the surface?" and I did it, the keyboard started working normally again!! I don't know what will happen next time the battery runs out, but I hope that the reset will save me!

Quite good and easy to connect. It does its job quite well.
It smelled a lot though. After a month, the smell has almost gone.
