William Mandela is a reluctant hero in the first interstellar war of humanity. A member of an elite unit of soldiers with an IQ above 150, trained in new, powerful technologies, he will travel light years to counter the Taurians, a mysterious and invincible alien enemy, on their own territory. He and his comrades will do their best to fulfill their duty and return alive to their homeland despite the tremendous adversities.

However, returning to Earth may prove to be an even more difficult task... Due to time dilation during interstellar travel, every time the soldiers return, years or even centuries have passed on Earth, and Mandela finds himself fighting for a homeland that no longer has anything familiar...
