Full satisfied with the card.
I bought it second hand from a friend during the summer for 700. It was lightly used.
It plays everything at the appropriate settings. If you want something good, prefer it
It is expensive, yes. However, my review will be based on the supposed retail price (~850€).
First of all, I have to say that all the following details will refer to 2K resolution with all graphic settings on ultra.
The card is truly a BEAST. It is an upgrade from the 1060 6GB and the difference is clearly noticeable. I should note that I haven't adjusted any settings yet as I am still getting familiar with AMD's software. I believe that with a little tweaking, its performance will improve.
Cyberpunk 2077 - 65-70fps
F1 2020 - 170fps
DiRT Rally 2 - 150fps
Shadow of the Tomb Raider - 144fps (I couldn't remove the lock, but it had very minimal drops, very small)
Assassin's Creed Odyssey - 70fps
Temperatures range from 60 to 70 degrees Celsius generally, with an aggressive fan curve.
I can't say that it has left me dissatisfied.
Its only drawback is the Ray-Tracing, where it dropped to 40fps in Cyberpunk. Personally, I'm not that interested in RT, but I think it's worth mentioning
I bought it for the price of €1150 on 18/01/2021 and it arrived in about a week. The performance of the card is very good (cyberpunk 60-70 fps 1440p, black desert online 60-90 fps 1440p, and call of duty warzone 100+ fps with i9 9900k), the temperature stays at max 60-70 degrees, power consumption is 250-300W, and it is a quiet card when the fans are running below 50%. Now, regarding driver stability, I struggled for 2 months to find out why it was causing black screens with the fans at 100% (it happened during gaming with internet browsing) and which driver version was the most stable. In the end, I flashed the latest vbios from MSI along with the first driver that was released for the card (Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.11.2) and it works much better. Please note that the card needs to be connected with 2 separate pci-e power pins to be properly powered, as well as the metal bracket provided by MSI for proper support of the card.
