The TP-Link TL-WPA8631P is a Powerline adapter that combines Powerline technology and wireless networking to extend and enhance your network. It uses Powerline technology to transmit the network signal through your home's electrical wiring. It features a built-in wireless access point (Access Point) that supports dual-band AC1200 frequencies (2.4GHz and 5GHz). It is easy to install and set up.

2x2 MIMO and Beamforming

The advanced HomePlug AV2 standard allows the TL-WPA8631P to support 2x2 MIMO with Beamforming technology, providing ultra-fast data transfer speeds of up to 1300 Mbps. This means it is ideal for supporting UHD streaming video, online video games, large file transfers, and other bandwidth-intensive activities on multiple devices simultaneously.

One-Touch Wi-Fi

The TP-Link TL-WPA8631P can automatically copy the wireless network name (SSID) and password of the main router with the press of a button. After placing the units at the desired points and pressing a key, you automatically extend the range of your network throughout your home or office (depending on physical obstacles and interference).

Plug & Play!

Connect the TP-Link TL-PA8010P to the wall and use an Ethernet cable to connect it to the router. Connect the TL-WPA8631P to the outlet of your choice.     It broadcasts at 2.4 MHz and 5 MHz and also supports mesh Wi-Fi in combination with compatible tp-link devices. It is 100% reliable, does not disconnect, and maintains excellent speed despite being in a different phase of three-phase power. Of course, the actual speed is not 1.2 Gbps but ranges around 300 ~ 400 Mbps (in my case), which is more than sufficient for any use.

    Attention for those who do not know, this device is one of the two needed to create an internet network wherever you want in your home.
    Normally it comes in a kit (TL-WPA8631P KIT AV1300).
    The wired, via LAN cable from the internet router, transfers the signal through the power cables of the house to the wireless and you have internet where you have placed the wireless (this specific product).
    If you want, you can add more wireless devices (e.g. in a remote location or on each floor of the house, but all floors must have a power panel, one network, not separate apartments with different "meters").
    I have been using it for many years and I am very satisfied.
    It does not slow down the internet speed.

    I had purchased another set from the same company in the middle of last year, and seeing the stability in operation and expansion capabilities, I bought this one to add to my existing powerline network. Stability is its strong point, as I have not experienced any disconnections since the day of installation, just like with the previous set. The options for programming the wifi operation and the indicator lights proved useful and fully functional, as this particular one was installed in a bedroom and having the wifi and lights next to the bed at night did not seem like a good idea. It slightly reduced my speed in terms of mbps, but the latency is zero. Although it is expensive, I believe I can trust it blindly, and that is enough to justify the high price.
