It works just fine and has a very simple menu with different measurements for each type of meat. Some people who write random things obviously don't even know how to tie their shoelaces.

The thermometer was purchased with the purpose of being used primarily for cooking meats. From the very beginning, the temperature would fluctuate and I was never able to achieve the result that the thermometer promised. In the end, I preferred not to use it.

I tried it on chicken that I grilled on a spit in the fireplace. As soon as the thermometer reached the recommended temperature, I took it out and then realized that a perfect grilling had been achieved. I think it also shows accurate measurements and the temperatures it suggests for grilling various meats are correct.

Exactly what they said in the negative comments... The FIRST time and just before reaching 63 degrees, it started to rise like crazy. 120°C and then 225°C until it started whistling constantly due to the high temperature. I said, okay, let me take it out and let it cool down, I took out the batteries as well... After 1 hour when I turned it on again, the same thing happened. It kept whistling constantly. Surely the spike is problematic and I think it couldn't withstand the heat, the wires melted. Do not buy it since others had the same problem. Give something more for a more reputable brand.
P.S. Anyway, at a temperature of 63°C, the steak was a little more cooked than I wanted it to be, medium rare.

Every time I have used this particular model, it is programmed with incorrect temperatures, resulting in it not responding to what we have selected.
Compared to other thermometers, it has a difference of about 4 to 5 degrees in the hot setting.
It is fine in the cold.
I do not recommend it.

Its spike is extremely problematic. It broke after 2 uses. Do not buy it. You risk throwing away your money for one month of use.

I bought it to measure the temperature of water during the boiling process. The first time it broke. It got permanently stuck at 40 degrees

So the thermometer has magnets that stick wherever you want so you don't have to touch it. Now, as for the cooking indications it has, the m rare that it showed me didn't please me much, it was more like medium well. But I will try it with adjustment and your own temperatures that I will see on the internet. Anyway, the temperatures it has in the menu are a bit wrong, meaning that medium rare should be 55 and not 63. So the programmed temperatures it gives you are wrong.
