If you use apps that are made for Android, it constantly crashes. Unfortunately, I bought it a year ago after reading positive reviews and believing that I would download Google Play and it would work properly, and I wasted my money, now I'm looking for a new one.

Pathetic, without any use in 6 months it stopped working and it shows a reset screen that does absolutely nothing. Money wasted

I chose it for reading books and comics and I can say that it does it perfectly. It works exclusively with the Amazon platform and has limited apps, but for me personally, it doesn't create any issues. Social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter run very well on it.

Very good if you know why you bought it, at the price you bought it, the fire OS it runs on is based on Marshmallow but has all the security updates until August 2020.
If you get it and want to explore it, it's worth it a thousand times at the price it is, otherwise you can settle with the Amazon UI

It does not have the Android operating system but Amazon Android with excessive restrictions, unless you spend hours studying to install common Android software (something that only a few computer enthusiasts do). It asks for your credit card, otherwise basic applications do not work at all. It asks for passwords and when it doesn't ask, it requires you to use it with your account, otherwise not all applications work fully. It does not play unofficial apps that you may actually need, nor official ones from the Google platform. It focuses on charging you and not on you as an individual. It has a MicroSD Card slot (the printed letters on the card are towards the screen) with a recognition limit of 128GB. Terrible experience.
