DDR4 is the fourth generation of RAM memory technology for computers. It replaces DDR3 and offers increased speeds and greater capacity than its predecessor.

Specifically, DDR4 offers operating speeds from 2133MT/s to 4800MT/s, response time (CAS Latency) from CL 9 to CL 22, while its capacity has increased up to 32GB per memory unit.

For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the larger size we choose and is supported by the motherboard, the better, while for response time (CL), we want the smallest size in relation to the speed (MT/s).

The Patriot Signature Line provides speed at 2400MT/s, with CL17 and 16GB per memory unit.
