It is simple, lightweight, high-quality, and functional. It is a passive device, meaning it does not require batteries, so its operation does not depend on power. It does what it promises, has 3 functions: half-press for auto-focus, full-press for taking photos/starting video, and a lock mechanism that keeps the button pressed for bulb mode (the shutter remains open as long as the button is pressed). The cable can be considered short (only 60cm) depending on the intended use. I cannot compare it to any other as it is the only one I have tried. In my opinion, its price is somewhat high.
