Look and see what's going on. I bought this monitor 10 months ago. It's an amazing monitor. Restful and perfect for playing games. Tremendous!!! Unbelievable!!! Impressive!!! An unbeatable monitor!! But while I was playing Spider-Man today, it suddenly shut down for no reason and started acting weird. It's frustrating. Luckily, I have a 2-year warranty. Otherwise, we would argue.
I'm not saying it with very good response time, the big problem is that it doesn't have a standard profile as far as colors are concerned. Which means you can't achieve the correct colors that IPS panels have. I don't know why they did this. For example, you can adjust custom colors but they will be on a factory profile, such as FPS, RTS, Reader, Movie, etc.
Other than that, very good response time and good 165 Hz
In the 200€ that was purchased, it is vfm. Very user-friendly menu, IPS, 165Hz and 1ms response time. So far, very satisfied.
It was purchased for 200 euros on sale and it is worth even more.
Positive:
- Incredible image, the factory settings may appear somewhat faded, but with a few adjustments in the menu (which is very user-friendly), you can adjust it to your liking.
- 1ms response time, 165hz.
- Beautiful design, extremely slim with thin bezels.
- Includes a 1.5-meter displayport cable.
- The gaming tools provided by Asus are very useful and convenient (various crosshairs, FPS counter, screen alignment), all easily accessible from the menu.
Negative:
- Minimal backlight bleed on the sides of the panel.
- The included stand is not sturdy and feels cheap compared to the screen. It was only used for testing as it was directly mounted on a monitor mount. I encountered another negative aspect (which may not apply to everyone).
- The VESA mount of the screen (75x75) is located very low and not exactly in the center of the screen, which greatly limits its position if it is placed on a dual monitor mount with a common base like mine (Arctic Z2 Basic). Additionally, a small part of the metal frame of the arm will protrude as shown in the photo (if the base has a dual pattern of 100x100, 75x75 like this one).
In short, if you plan to purchase it to be placed on such a base for parallel positioning and not vertical-horizontal (like mine in the photo), it will never align with the second screen if its VESA mount is in the center (like most monitors) and one will always be significantly higher than the other. The solution is either a more expensive mount with independently adjustable arms or another screen like this one.
Only time will tell how durable it is. So far, after approximately one month of use, there are no dead pixels, no menu glitches, and excellent response. I am very satisfied.
Excellent monitor, nice flat design, IPS, 165 Hz, FreeSync. It is worth noting that the screen is 1 ms and not 4 ms as stated in the specifications, which is a mistake by the manufacturer.
