Initially, the quality of the materials is very good, and there is reinforcement at the corners of the case to prevent damage in case of a fall (it's good not to drop the laptop, but accidents happen). The lid closes and secures with Velcro, which is fine for now, but I am concerned about its durability in the long run. It also has two angles for placing the laptop and working. Additionally, the lid functions as a mousepad.
When supporting the laptop (14"), the case is stable, the laptop does not overheat, and it has no durability issues. The only concern I have is that the "ear" that holds the bottom of the laptop may soften over time and become useless, but we'll see. Overall, it's a very good purchase for the money!
