The book "Marx of communism", which is delivered to the crisis and criticism of the reader, is a node of a research path that started about twenty years ago. The first milestone of this journey was the writing of the book "Marx of the uprising in the garden of Epicurus". A relatively long study and writing engagement with the world of European Enlightenment, with the works of Montesquieu and Rousseau in particular, and with a constant reference point being the philosophical relationship between freedom and necessity, the author was led to the second milestone of his research journey, to Marx of democracy, a study that focuses on the way Marx understands and addresses democracy before joining communism.

The new book, "Marx of communism", therefore, constitutes the third milestone of the author's research journey. In the pages of this study, Marxist communism, as a surpassing and not an abolition of democracy, is presented as a communism of measure, a political culture of an autonomous municipality, a communist state, whose citizens determine and redefine the measure of their lives by cultivating their individuality in the meeting place of politics and culture.
