Description

The entire life of Kang is a miracle. He managed to escape poverty and become the director of a successful construction company. When he is diagnosed with a very serious illness, he returns to his old neighborhood, the Hill of Cherry Trees. He buys an old house where he plans to retire, away from the world, but the residents of the area have other plans. They seem determined to invade Kang's property.

But, to whom do the house and the Hill of Cherry Trees really belong?
Do they belong to the construction company trying to upgrade the area or perhaps to the residents who for years play, think, walk, fall in love, and explore it, generation after generation?

"The Cherry Trees that Wanted to Bloom" is a story of redemption of a wounded man trying to regain his faith in humanity. A journey into the past and the depths of oneself, a journey of self-awareness in the face of uncertainty, a journey of forgiveness and love that through the wonderful illustration touches the reader's soul.

It is the second book I have read out of the three that he has released, and I can say that he is a great author! For me, "The Hen Who Wanted to Fly" has taken first place in my heart, but I can't say that this one wasn't equally good. It is the first time I have been so moved by a novel! Congratulations!!
