It looks sturdy and well-built. 4 years of occasional amateur use, mainly drilling brick, wood, concrete, 2 hours of plaster mixing, all good. I just started drilling a 50mm hole with a diamond core drill bit in stone/grout with a simple rotation. In the first minute, it suddenly stopped rotating and something was hitting inside. It makes an impact, but no rotation. Time for something that may cost twice as much but has a 3-year warranty and specifications for durability.
I have bought it for home use, to demolish the entire basement wall in order to insulate it and to install tiles in the bathroom and kitchen, and to install a shower, etc. I didn't expect it to be so useful. In terms of material, it is not fake, it is sturdy. In terms of power, it does exactly what it says. It drills deep, but not too deep. It is sturdy, but it can tire your wrists during long hours of work, it is not that light, but I don't consider that a bad thing. It doesn't have different speeds, but if you lightly press the trigger, you can reduce the speed, which is useful. You need goggles and ear protection, especially in the basement where I am now. For its price, it is okay, neither expensive nor cheap. I recommend it to people who do DIY projects, it is quite powerful. I haven't tried drilling deeper, like drilling a hole on the other side, but wherever I have drilled slowly, it doesn't get stuck, so with a little patience, it can break through everywhere! Also, I used it continuously for three hours and it didn't get hot, especially now in the summer, it didn't overheat, which is a positive thing. The handle is very helpful, you can adjust it wherever you want. Easy to use! I am a cook, since I have been breaking things correctly for so long, so even amateurs can use it :)
P.S. Because I had written that it gets hot, it is wrong. I had forgotten the "not", I corrected it. I will try to drill a wall to come out on the other side and I will inform you soon
The chuck for the regular drills broke on the first use....after a while, the head started to have play and the drills were spinning like crazy...such a shame for the 80+ that I had spent
