Description

Prepare your kids for the most fun adventure with the PRIMO scooter! Suitable for children aged 3-6 years, the PRIMO includes Globber's patented steering lock system, adjustable handlebar height in 3 levels, and a durable platform, and can help children safely develop balance and coordination during scooting!

Patented Handlebar Locking System

PRIMO is equipped with a patented steering lock system by Globber that locks the scooter's front wheels to move only forward and backward, allowing children to gain confidence on the scooter while practicing their balance skills.

To switch to full steering mode and activate lean-to-steer riding, simply release the steering lock button located at the base!

Anti-slip Composite Deck

The PRIMO is equipped with a non-slip composite platform with a low reinforced structure for durable and comfortable rides in the park.

3-Position T-Bar Handlebar

Adjust the scooter to the most comfortable height for you! The PRIMO features an aluminum T-bar that can be adjusted to 3 heights (67.5cm, 72.5cm, or 77.5cm) for a comfortable scooter experience as your child grows.

Benefits

These types of toys have been proven to contribute to the development of "mechanical" & motor skills as children practice over and over again. Additionally, they begin to understand speed, stay alert, and make decisions as quickly as possible. This results in their training in risk assessment and setting their personal limits. It is also important to encourage your child to use the scooter safely and under supervision.

Skroutz Tips

What to look out for when making your choice

  1. Age and weight of the child: Choose a scooter that is suitable for your child's size and weight.
  2. Safety features: Ensure that the scooter has appropriate safety features, such as a non-slip surface, to ensure that the scooter remains stable under your child's foot, and a brake, so they can learn proper use, speed control, and how to stop safely.
  3. Adjustable height: Choose a scooter with adjustable height, as this will allow your child to adjust the scooter as they grow and use it for a longer time.
  4. Size and design: Choose a children's scooter that is suitable for your space and a design that you consider appropriate for your child.
  5. Build quality: Check the quality of the construction materials and components to ensure that the scooter is durable and safe for children.
  6. Protective gear: Don't forget to buy protective gear, such as a helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads, to protect your child from potential injuries.

We have had the scooter for 3 years and it really is worth its money and more!! Very good and sturdy construction!! My 4-year-old daughter now uses it on a daily basis, winter and summer, and it has not broken at all except for the letters on the handlebar that start to wear off over time (normal wear and tear). I highly recommend it to new parents without a second thought!!

The scooter has serious design problems, not to mention that I have paid for (expensive) replacement parts again.
    1) The scooter has a small wheel at the back and 2 large ones at the front. As a result, the weight is not distributed correctly on the 2 axes, the back wheel is forced to carry weight for which it is not designed, it wears out easily and often needs replacement. I have already changed 3 and now going for the fourth (genuine ones, €10 each).
    2) The rear brake is fake, a blade plays the role of the spring and has broken twice (another €10 for the brake, not to mention that it is difficult to find a replacement part anymore).
    3) The front springs for steering the scooter have loosened very early on and the scooter turns very easily.
    4) The screw from the handlebar tightening mechanism is not secure and constantly loosens, falls off, and gets lost. It has a special screw that you can't find compatible with in hardware stores. I had to remove the handlebar.

It is no coincidence that for all of the above, globber has (had) replacement parts, they know that they will break and you will be forced to spend the ten euros. We are talking about a scooter that is 1.5 years old and is only used during the warm months.
Better to buy a Chinese scooter for €20... it breaks and you throw it away and buy a new one. In the end, you will have spent less money.

It seems quite high-quality. Now, the fact that the steering wheel doesn't turn, I don't know if it's good. In order to turn, you have to tilt the steering wheel towards where you want to turn. It also has an option to not turn at all, to only go straight to help the child until they learn. However, I would like the option for the steering wheel to turn. Overall, very good impression.

I come back to say that now the little one turns it very easily. She has been using it a lot and there is no problem. I estimate that it is suitable for heights up to 1.20m. Overall, very good impression.
