Description

Induction Cooktop

A uniform glass-ceramic surface covers the top surface of the burner. Thus, the device remains easily clean. Since the heat required for cooking is generated directly in the cookware and the cooking surface is not heated directly (only through residual heat from the cookware), anything that spills out of the cookware does not bake onto the surface of the burner.

Cooking on an induction burner saves time (60%) and electrical energy (50%). It provides high efficiency (up to 90%) with minimal thermal loss.

Control

The operation of the burner and individual functions is carried out by the touch buttons. The temperature and power are easily adjusted by sliding your finger left or right, i.e., slider. The large LED display with red backlight provides information on temperature and power.

Features

  • Microprocessor-controlled operation.
  • Instant energy transfer without long preheating duration.
  • Lower noise level thanks to optimized internal layout.
  • The recommended cookware diameter is 12 to 26 cm.
  • Automatic cookware recognition for induction cooking (with magnetic base).
  • Adjustable temperature/power settings.
  • Temperature can be adjusted from 60 °C to 240 °C.
  • Power can be adjusted in intervals of 10 ranging from 200 to 2,000 W.
  • Shutdown timer with a range of up to 180 minutes.
  • ON/OFF button for activation or standby mode.
  • Anti-slip feet.

Great attention is needed only to have a compatible device with an induction hob. Otherwise, with the use of the adapter shown in the photo, you can use any cookware you have (I have it from the previous Sencor model, which was very thick in construction and is still available on the market).

The device was preferred because it is elegant, especially compared to the old one I had, but also because of the timer function it offers to automatically shut off. The old hob did not have such a feature.

With suitable cookware, the cooking time is much faster, and the achieved power consumption is quite significant. Personally, it has completely replaced the ceramic hobs in the kitchen (unless two or more hobs are needed simultaneously).

The 20° temperature increment is great, although near the boiling point, there could possibly be increments of 10° for ultimate efficiency. Perhaps, if I had one observation, it would be that for warming milk, I would prefer a lower temperature than the 60° offered by the device. This can be corrected, of course, with a simple infrared thermometer (at least that's how it has served me), so that the temperature does not rise so high.

Overall, it is a very good implementation, and I recommend it.

I bought it to use with my pans. I haven't cooked with it even once. Until it heats up, it overheats and you have to let it cool down. Unfortunately, I haven't used it at all.

After a few days of testing, my impressions are excellent. I ended up choosing this product because it has a self-adjusting diameter for devices ranging from 120 centimeters to 260 centimeters, and it is priced at 69 euros. Cooking in a pot with a temperature of 200 watts and 120 degrees Celsius is sufficient, and the speed cooker can work from 60 watts to 2000 watts in 10 different settings, with a temperature range from 60 degrees Celsius to 240 degrees Celsius in 10 different settings. The only drawback, if it can be considered a drawback for some people who are bothered by noise, is that it has a fan to cool the system from below and it makes a small noise, similar to the sound of a computer working, and slightly lower than a microwave oven. If this doesn't bother you, everything else is a great advantage. It heats up very quickly without creating heat on the surface, it works with vibration and ultrasound, and the cookware you use must be suitable for induction cookers. You can check this by using a magnet, if the magnet sticks to the bottom of the cookware, then it is suitable for induction cookers. Boiling in a pot is done at temperatures between 600 and 800 degrees Celsius, and you won't need the settings that go up to 2000 watts, as they are only for frying. However, I haven't fried anything yet to know for sure, but I will try it and come back with an update. AFTER A FEW MONTHS, it has caused me a problem, it overheats. I tried to fry three fish pans and three times it overheated. The instructions say to let it cool for half an hour and then continue, but it displays an E5 error on the screen and stops working.
