    Excellent product!
Having mistakenly started making coffee with cheap briki, I appreciated the quality of this product both in terms of materials and results.
The valve that the product has allows the creation of cream, which is enjoyable both in terms of aroma and taste, as well as visually.

    I present some details:
    - Use Lavazza Crema E Gusto Classico coffee
    - Heat source: gas stove
    - Fire intensity: medium
    - Required time: ~5 minutes
    - Final quantity of coffee: ~ 85-90ml

  • My first espresso. Very good in terms of quality and easy to use. Once I found the right amount of coffee for my taste, it was perfect! Also, the variety of coffee plays an important role, so be careful not to overbrew.

This particular device requires attention, patience, and several experiments until you achieve a good result. If it's worth it now, if you regularly drink coffee at home, then yes, it's worth it. If you only drink coffee occasionally, then it's not worth it. Personally, I regretted the purchase.

    update 23/12/23
In the end, I changed my mind a little, if you learn how to use the briki, it makes good coffee, strong and intense. Always use coarse ground coffee, so pre-ground coffee from supermarkets won't have a good result. Buying a coffee grinder and good quality coffee is the only way if you want something good.

Let's start with the fact that it's a crazy experience, I've never had in my life. This specific one is the third one I have, and compared to the previous two, it's better.

    Positives
    Beautiful
    Sturdy
It's been 3 months and it doesn't seem to have any external damage

    Negatives
    The valve makes noise
It has leaks (I've tightened it enough)
    Average construction quality

This Brikka is much better than the previous model (the one with the little mushroom on top). It makes amazing coffee. In the photos, you can see the whole extraction process. I use packaged coffee (Lavazza) with the indication that it is suitable for this type of coffee maker. Here are some tips for guaranteed results:
    1. The coffee should be from the refrigerator. That's where it is recommended to be stored, in sealed containers.
    2. We should use the maximum amount of water recommended, i.e. for all cups of the size of our coffee maker. For example, I have a 2-cup size, so I use 100ml.
    3. We add about 2 full teaspoons of coffee (a lot...). That means we need to use the maximum dose for our coffee maker.
    4. We DO NOT press it. We gently stir it - without pressure - to make it uniform.
    5. When it starts to release coffee under pressure, we turn off the heat, let it sit for a few more seconds (~5), and then remove it. I imagine if it's on a gas stove, we leave it on until it finishes.

Guys, it's amazing, just received it and the result of my first attempt is great. Advice, choose a suitable coffee for the device, not just any coffee, and be careful with the handle, it's a bit hot after the brewing process, it's best not to touch it with bare hands

Having the previous model brikka 4 cups, I was hesitant to purchase the new one. However, the results fully justified me!!!

    1. The coffee is rich in body and aroma.
    2. It creates crema but does not retain it. Maybe it has to do with the quality of the coffee. Currently, I am using 100% arabica.

Overall, if someone does not want to buy a machine, this specific brikka is one of the best choices.

Very good. I read that it makes the best coffee on low heat. I boil the water, put it in the briki, and put it on the eye at full power, and I have achieved the best results in taste. Actually, I think this way the coffee doesn't have time to burn and smell. Try this method

Mediocre coffee compared to other bialettis (previous brikka, stainless steel, classic). Maybe I haven't found the right settings, but the taste lacks body and you can't distinguish the coffee aromas. I have been using the same lavazza for years.
    + excellent crema
    - longer preparation time >7 minutes
    - average taste (better when using low heat 3/9, but then it has less crema)
Note: measurements are with 15g of pressed coffee in 180ml filtered water

For anyone interested in not spending money on an espresso machine, the Brikka is the ultimate choice. Of course, some experimentation will be needed at the beginning until you find your own preferences, but afterwards, it's a piece of cake.
Prefer bottled water, good quality espresso, such as Lavazza or Buonti - Craft Arabica Selection Espresso Ground, which consists of roasted and ground 100% Arabica beans, and the results will enchant you.

Very good compared to the regular moka pot, I won't say that the foam is exactly like that of electric machines but it is very good, it needs exactly as much water as it says (120ml) with the dosimeter it has and ground coffee for moka

Very good, although I didn't expect it. It really rocks. It doesn't burn the coffee and makes a fantastic crema. I use a 60/40 arabica/robusta blend. Ground at level 3. If you use a round, paper filter, there's not much difference without a filter. It's worth every penny.

It makes great coffee, smooth and aromatic. The burning is quite good. After several attempts, I ask them to grind the coffee at a 3 on the machine and it requires a lot of filling to make a small mound but not pressing. The dose it makes is for a double espresso or a single lungo

I had bought a while ago the coffee pot of Loumidis that is shown in the photo, as a gift in a package with Greek coffee.
This particular coffee pot produced very little foam, which disappeared when you poured the coffee into the cup, and the coffee itself was relatively average, I would say.

Now, about the Bialetti, I have to say the best things, just the foam that you see in the picture says it all.
It requires medium heat and when the coffee starts to rise, we should turn off the heat in 2-3 seconds.

I have been using the Passalacqua Espresso Mekico and the Bialetti coffee pot for a few days now, and it produces a flavorful and aromatic coffee.

I prefer briki because I don't want any more appliances in the kitchen.
I had a very old brikka that made perfect foam. Of course, this has to do with the freshness and quantity of the coffee. It's still too early to judge it for that reason. I don't think it's worth its money. It has also annoyed me greatly that the price was stuck on the bottom with a terrible sticker that wouldn't come off. I know it's a detail, but it's very frustrating. I tried to remove it with oil, but it's still sticking. I don't know.

Very good briki, it produces a much tastier coffee than capsule coffee machines. Don't expect the coffee to be like what you drink in a café from a professional machine. The foam (crema) that they say it produces is thin and disappears quickly (like when making Greek coffee), and this is after you find the right balance with the water-coffee ratios. Overall, it's a value for money if you don't want a machine that permanently takes up space on the counter, if you occasionally drink a coffee, and if you don't mind cleaning it after use.

PS: Combine it with a good grinder (even manual) for better results.

This is the new 4-cup Brikka, which means it doesn't have a large valve where the coffee comes out like the old one, but it looks more like a moka pot (I have uploaded photos). It makes very good coffee with crema. The only thing that requires attention is the amount of water, you should use the measuring cup that comes with it. It is also good to use filtered or bottled water. For less coffee, it makes a very good crema. Personally, I buy freshly ground coffee from a coffee shop where I specify that I want it ground for a Bialetti (I think the grind is coarser compared to electric grinders). I found it on sale for 35 euros and bought it without hesitation. It is a great upgrade from the Moka Express I had before.
