Description

Contains:

• Theory - Exercises
• 160 exercises of various types in groups
• 2930 examples - excerpts of ancient Greek texts
• 18 texts of Attic prose
• Answers

The originality of this writing effort lies mainly in the fact that:

• The theory is given in correspondence with its example, resulting in easy and immediate understanding and assimilation
• Most of the 160 exercises are divided into three groups according to the level of difficulty, in order to meet the needs of Gymnasium, Lyceum, and educators
• There are various types of exercises adapted to the new examination system
• There are autonomous untaught texts of Attic prose with questions mainly adapted to the syntactic phenomena that preceded them
• The answers to all types of exercises help in checking the assimilation of knowledge.

Thus, the student perceives, understands, and assimilates it immediately.
In addition, the distinction between the basic knowledge for each syntactic phenomenon (first part of each unit) and the deepening of this phenomenon with additional observations in specific cases (second part of each unit) covers the needs of both the beginner and the one seeking knowledge of the structure of discourse with high demands.
Finally, the answers allow students to check how successfully they dealt with the proposed exercises.
However, the main emphasis of this third edition was given to the classification of exercises.
Most of them for each syntactic phenomenon are divided into three groups, and the criterion for their classification was the level of difficulty.
Thus, the exercises of the first group are easier for the student to approach and can be taught in lower grades, while also serving the colleague teacher.
In addition, an effort was made to include examples from the already known ancient Greek texts of the Gymnasium and the Lyceum in the exercises.
