I had it as the only heating in a small room. I was very satisfied. It warmed the room in about half an hour. It smells only at the beginning for the first few hours and then not at all. Very convenient to move with handles and wheels. Economical in electricity consumption. It is worth the money.
What you pay for, you get here. It may be one of the most expensive, but it is high quality, quickly produces heat, and turns your room into an oven. It greatly helps for a large living room as well. Much better than a cheap inventor model I had before that only burned electricity, but also better than the cheaper models of the company, like the radia 1225, which is also good but doesn't do the same job as this one. Also, the radia has a slight odor at full power. This one, on the other hand, has absolutely no odor from the first moment
Very high quality and efficient radiator, I have 2 that are used in bedrooms without insulation of 20 and 23 sq.m. Here are some information from my experience so far:
UNBOXING: Be careful when opening, the device weighs around 17 kg. It helps that it has 2 handles, which is useful for easy transportation inside the house. I do not recommend turning it upside down to open the wheels, as I read in the manual with surprise. I have had the experience of laying another radiator on the floor for a few seconds and then finding oil drops on the carpet! I also suggest taking a few minutes to read the manual in order to understand the indicators on the screen.
FIRST USE - SMELL: In the first use, the device smells a lot. Set it to 28 (maximum) and let it work at full power (3rd scale) for 2-3 hours, definitely with open windows! In the second use, it smelled slightly and since then it is completely odorless.
NOISE: When you open it for 3-4 minutes, you hear some "clicks", the same when you turn it off. During operation, however, the device is completely silent.
PERFORMANCE: I think the device is ideal for spaces up to 25 sq.m. I read on some sites about 75 sq.m., I consider it impossible to heat such a large space satisfactorily. The reason I remove one star (and contrary to other comments I read) is the (in)accuracy of the thermostat and I explain: In a 23 sq.m. bedroom with a real temperature of 17 degrees, I set the device quite high, at 25 degrees, in order to work at full power (3rd scale) all night. In the morning, I woke up with a real temperature of 19 degrees and the device working on the 1st scale! I repeated the experiment with a different thermometer and the same thing happened. It is not that I expected to wake up at 25 degrees in such a cold room, but I do not consider it normal when the real temperature is 6 whole degrees away from the desired one for the device to work on idle instead of maximum. I have concluded that the way the thermostat works is more oriented towards economy and if you want real performance, you need to set the device to a fairly high temperature.
CONSUMPTION: Discussions about consumption are unnecessary, the 3 scales are 1100, 1400, and 2500 watts and beyond that, it is just math. Personally, I turn it on 2 hours before sleep, set at 28 to work a little at full power (3rd scale) and then for maintenance I lower it to 24-25 to work all night on the 1st - 2nd scale.
CONCLUSION: High quality and efficient radiator, odorless and silent, ideal for spaces up to 25 sq.m. Compared to air conditioning, I prefer it, especially in bedrooms, as I believe that the heat it provides in the room is sweeter, without drying the atmosphere. The only downside is the accuracy of the thermostat, which, however, does not create a problem, you just adjust the temperature higher than desired. I would definitely recommend it!
EDIT: After several months of use, I have to note the following negative: If you do not use the 3rd scale (max) for a few days, then when you finally turn it on, unfortunately the smell of the device returns. That is, with daily use, even a little, of the 3rd scale, the radiator is indeed odorless, while if you use the 3rd scale occasionally, every time you turn it on there is a smell.
It's great! It heats a 15 sqm room. It has a thermostat, it has a programmable setting for daily hours to turn on and how many degrees. I burned it for 2.30 hours on the balcony at full power and there is no smell inside the room.
I have four in the house in every room and I want to add another one in the living room because I don't have any other alternative solution (no oil, air conditioning, fireplace). I am very satisfied (quality and price ratio). I use them at 1100Watt and I can say that it is more economical than oil, and imagine that I am in a detached house and on an island.
Expensive but quiet. It doesn't smell and it does the job. I won't discuss the energy consumption issue because it's for the café. Since it's a resistance, consumption is directly proportional to the heat it provides, so whether the bill is a little higher or lower, it's pointless to argue. As long as you enjoy the warmth, it will burn... otherwise, excellent
In the first use, it smells a little, nothing tragic. Anyway, it says in the instructions for the first use that it needs to work at full power for a while. Very good, I also have a second dragon here for 3 years without any problems.
Edit: Compared to a thermometer, the temperature you set seems very accurate. For example, if you set it to 20, it works in a way that maintains the temperature at 20 degrees. In contrast to the simple Dragon that I also have, which has a simpler temperature adjustment method that is not as precise.
An excellent product from Delonghi, this heater. It warms up the room very well, has a digital thermostat, keeps the temperature you choose stable throughout the night, is completely odorless and completely silent. If there is "something" negative, it is the lack of wifi for remote control, but still, it is so efficient and high-quality in all aspects that you can overlook it.
I am making an update that I hope will help. So, measured with a smart plug, for maintaining a temperature of 21 degrees throughout the night in a 14 square meter bedroom with high ceilings, facing north, it consumes 10/12 euros per month. I have to say that since it started operating, we have been relieved of noise, we have quality warmth, and it is relatively economical. I recommend it as the best solution for the night, having tried everything.
