I have a 27 Curved Samsung C27F390. I have had it for several years and I am completely satisfied. So, I will share my experience in comparison to this one.

I do photo/video editing, watch movies, use Youtube, internet browsing, and occasionally play FPS games (like COD Warzone).

    Pros:
    + Very good contrast
    + Very accurate colors
    + Good response time
    + QHD resolution
+ USB 3.0 Hub on the back
    + Headphone output
+ Smaller bezels compared to Samsung
+ Includes cables (HDMI & DP)

    Cons:
    - Has backlight bleeding and ghosting (visible on a black background)
    - Didn't see any significant differences from my almost 5-year-old Samsung that justify the cost
    - Samsung's colors are inaccurate and dull, but 1080p videos look better on it due to its native 1080p resolution.
    - You will NEVER reach the 165Hz/FPS, especially in demanding games (e.g. Warzone), especially if you use QHD resolution, unless you have a graphics card of 3070 or higher. Don't fall into the trap of high Hz marketing. Don't buy it for this reason.
    - The speakers it has are below average in sound quality
    - The majority of internet/movies/Youtube content is currently in 1080p, and you won't see any differences. 720p videos appear pixelated (which didn't happen on my old monitor due to its lower resolution)
    - The menu/software OSD Sidekick it has is mediocre and slow to load.
    - I didn't see any difference in gaming with FREESYNC (1st gen.) compared to my old Samsung 72Hz!

-- The resolution is native QHD, which has many downsides that I explain below
-- Anything you put in a lower resolution (especially games) looks terrible
-- If you watch a video on Youtube in 720p or lower resolution, it looks bad
-- Icons and programs appear smaller (but can be adjusted)
-- The menu and software it has are mediocre

I didn't use the stand as I put it on my own VESA mount.
Overall, it's a good purchase, but I wouldn't spend more than 200 euros to buy it. I recommend getting a 1080p monitor instead.
    It's too early for 2K+4K!

    ****UPDATE AFTER 1 MONTH:****
I still strongly stand by everything I have written above. The OSD Sidekick software, for some reason, stopped working and displays an error. The esupport.gigabyte.com, which Gigabyte provides, has taken 10 days to respond to my ticket. The image quality of Gigabyte has not improved in my eyes.

Very good IPS level colors. The blacks are naturally very good due to VA. Gsync works flawlessly with Nvidia cards without any flickering issues. The build quality is excellent from the packaging itself. The fact that it has speakers (simple use) is another positive. MANY options for image - gaming and very good and easy handling with the joystick. Ghosting exists (like in all VAs) but Gigabyte has done a very good job with the settings to minimize it. If you increase the contrast, it disappears. There is a little bit of backlight bleed only in absolute black, but it is not visible in any video unlike Ips which are not visible!! Overall, it is a very good monitor with many settings that you can customize to your liking!!! The speakers are a unique feature for the category! I consider it to be value for money at this price due to 165 hertz, image quality, build, and speakers!!!!

The screen with factory settings for me, coming from a TFT LCD, blinded me, but playing with the settings and lowering the brightness, I can say that the image quality is fantastic. Now it is restful even after hours. The 165hz in games is something else, I haven't seen any ghosting at all, maybe because my PC is entirely built with AMD. I recommend it for its price!

Well guys, I spent 2 days looking at tests on rtings.com, one of the most reliable and detailed websites for monitor reviews. My limits were as follows: I didn't want to spend more than €370, with that budget I wanted 1440p, 144hz, 27" and good image quality. After a lot of research and comparing over 14 alternative competitor monitors, I ended up choosing this one. When I ordered it 2 weeks ago, there wasn't a single review, but I bought it blindly and I have to say it's the ultimate value for money choice at €320.

So, after adjusting the settings with the OSD and downloading the appropriate ICC Profile from rtings.com, it has amazing color performance (supports HDR), it has decent brightness (I keep it at 50% permanently and it still seems very bright to me), and it has incredible black levels since it's a VA panel with a contrast ratio of 3800. It's curved and has 165hz, what else could you ask for? I should clarify that in order to play at 165hz and use freesync and HDR, it needs to be connected with a display port, which most laptops don't have, including mine. The previous monitor I had was an IPS from Eizo, the Foris FS2434, bought in 2014 for €400. Anyone who knows about monitors knows what the Eizo name means in terms of color, all graphic designers and photographers use Eizo. Well, I have to say that even though this one is a VA panel and there's a reputation that they have worse color quality than IPS, I didn't notice that in gaming. The colors are amazing and the blacks are incredible at the same time! Of course, I'm comparing it to the Eizo, which is a technology from 6 years ago. What I mean is that technologies have changed and now you can have great color quality even with a VA panel, maybe even with TN.

I tested it on two laptops, one with a GTX 980m and the other with an RTX 2060. On the one with the GTX 980m (which supports a maximum of 120hz), I experienced some ghosting, especially when there was intense red on a dark background. Despite experimenting with the override settings, the ghosting only slightly decreased in those specific situations. However, a little bit of ghosting is normal for VA panels, as they are known for that.

On the other hand, on the second laptop with the RTX 2060 and 144hz, it was really impressive. I'm really happy with my choice. I haven't seen any ghosting yet, maybe it was due to the combination of graphics card and monitor or maybe it had to do with the 120hz. I haven't noticed any backlit bleeding, as the other person mentioned below, and the flickering that the other person mentioned even further below is actually referring to ghosting, which I already analyzed. The flickering they mentioned is something else.

In conclusion, if you have decided that you want a VA panel, go for it without hesitation, or else do your own research and spend a few days burning yourself on rtings.com. If you want an IPS, then this model is also available in IPS, but it costs around €60 more.

    My gaming settings:

    Custom profile OSD
    Contrast: 100
    Brightness: 100
    Gamma: 1
    Color vibrance: 13
Override: Balanced or Speed (depending on the game and ghosting)
    Gamma enhance: 11
    Super resolution: 1
    Freesync: On
    Overdrive: Balanced (for reduced ghosting)

    NVIDIA color settings:
    Contrast: 80
    Gamma: 0.90
    Color vibrance: 80

As a VA monitor, it performs exceptionally well compared to others, with the only downside being the backlight bleeding, which personally doesn't bother me. Very user-friendly menu and the only thing I needed to adjust was the RGB ratio (R:87 G:84 B:100), with the brightness set at 50 for general use. The build quality is very good and it has a stable stand. I didn't notice any flickering or ghosting and it performs very well even at 165fps, with the quality at 1440p being amazing. For its price and features, I would recommend it to anyone planning to spend a similar amount on a monitor.

Look for something else, it's mediocre in everything, I won't go into details. I noticed a lot of flickering at 165 Hz, not when I reduced it to 120 Hz. When you put it on fast response, the dizziness goes away. Performance and balance in games with more ms, of course... but at least you don't get dizzy in first-person games.
