I wouldn't say it's gray.. It clearly looks gray/ice white.
They are hard but I believe they will soften.
They fit well if you follow the size guide, measure your foot accurately, and see what size corresponds to the centimeters of this shoe.

The best thing I could have bought for this money. I bought them hesitantly for work and they are really very comfortable and lightweight, even though I have a problem with my feet and in recent years I couldn't stand any shoes, with these I forget about this issue.
