  • To begin with, I should mention that the Arctic BioniX F series has been discontinued - End-of-Life. I read the comments on many products and I think that consumers, when they mention "it makes noise," do not inform the readers whether it is from the mechanics or if they hear the airflow. For me, it matters what exactly they are hearing. I have purchased 2 pieces of 14cm and 1 of 12cm since May (2024) and they are on both sides of the case, front and back. The only "noise" that can be heard is from the air at high speeds, above 1300, and that is if you are in a quiet environment. In a multimedia or gaming system, the sound of the fan does not bother anyone. Generally, with 12cm or 14cm fans above 1000 RPM, people in a quiet room will hear the small or large airflow. For everything else, they probably have poorly designed mechanics or damaged bearings

This review is about a variation of the product

Reading the comments, I was expecting a solution that would adjust to half the operating speed and provide good airflow inside the case with relatively little noise. Also, since these are not fans that cost 30+ euros, I did not expect them to be better than, for example, Noctua or other expensive implementations, but they would be a good value for money. Unfortunately, what I have to say is that these are case fans that make noise, unless you adjust them to about 1/3 of their speed, where they still deliver approximately 1/3 of the 104 cfm... So, the conclusion is that they are good, they move air in or out, but to be honest, they perform like any other fan and are not something special or exceptional... For their price, if they had a bit less noise, we would be talking about an excellent product. Based on reality, they have good quality materials and a relatively affordable price, but they are noisy from 700-750 rpm and above... I wish it was different.

Excellent fan!!! Amazing airflow and up to 1100 RPM it's not even audible!
I had be quiet's pure wings and the difference is night and day in favor of Arctic. Overall, Arctic products are the definition of value for money!

Very good fan. Without it, I had a temperature problem, since my processor is AMD FX. For months now, I don't have this issue anymore (freezes, restarts, etc.) and I am very satisfied. Of course, I can't say it's completely silent. It is relatively quiet, but it can be heard.

The fans are incredible, with a strong airflow but also quite noisy. It's not bothersome during the day, but at night, in silence, it feels like you have an open floor fan right next to you. However, if you overclock like me and the noise doesn't bother anyone in the family, it's the way to go because their cooling is amazing. From my perspective, I recommend them because they are worth it, with a 10-year warranty and a motor that, according to Arctic, has low temperatures at maximum speeds. Unfortunately, for those who want both overclocking and silence, it's not possible, unless you go for Noctua, which costs triple the price, or the slightly quieter double fans, which are slightly better in performance

Relatively quiet and efficient. Good value for its cost. A very positive aspect is the PST that allows you to connect another fan together.
