The electric guitar Standard 60s by Epiphone, Its pickups are passive, which consist only of the coil that "translates" the movement of the strings into an electric signal. This type of pickups is widely used and the most common compared to others.

The arrangement of the pickups equipped on the guitar Standard 60s is HH, which describes the number, position, and type of the pickups. Specifically, the combination of the letters H and S stands for humbucker and single, respectively. For example, if we have an HSS pickup configuration, then the guitar has 1 Humbucker pickup and 2 Single coil pickups. Additionally, the order of the letters determines the position of the pickups, with the first letter representing the bridge position, the last letter representing the neck position, and the middle letter, if present, indicating the middle position. However, if the configuration has only one letter, then the pickup is usually placed in either the bridge or neck position.

Finally, the bridge of Epiphone Standard 60s is fixed. The bridge, or saddle, is the part where the strings start from the body of the instrument and go towards the tuning keys. The strings simply pass through the metallic frame that resembles a bridge, which is screwed onto the body. Changing strings is simple and quick, and does not require any special attention.

99.9% of new guitars straight from the warehouse will need a Set Up, the 11th fret was buzzing and the first 7 frets needed a light pass of Steel Wool 0000. The switch had some black residue that wouldn't come off but it still works fine, although I don't know how it will affect its functionality in months or years from now. Within that, I hope it doesn't break from light use even though it's a cheap replacement. Other cosmetic observations on the guitar were the binding around the fretboard, there were several areas where it seemed like the work was done poorly but it doesn't affect its function. There are also millimeter-sized openings in the finish of the binding, I'm not sure what could cause something like that, I read on a forum that it often happens with Gibson Les Pauls, (I assume) due to being stored in the box with excessively low humidity levels until it reaches the customer's hands. Overall, it's a good guitar with excellent Les Paul Humbucker sound, the weight is close to the limit of what I would consider comfortable but it doesn't exceed 4.5 kilograms

    I could give it 5*.

I give it 4* only because of the weight, which objectively is not a problem. Otherwise, it is an excellent choice for its cost and definitely worth it.
