If you frequently replace the ice, it definitely lowers the temperature by 1-2 degrees. As a fan, I don't consider it very powerful, but with the setting on frozen, it's fine. For a 25 sqm ground floor shop, one is not enough, for sure another one will be needed in order to lower the temperature like an air conditioner.

It lowers the room temperature when operating with ice packs. Otherwise, it functions like a typical fan. We have it in a fairly large space where devices that emit heat are operating, and it does a very good job. In a typical room, I believe it would perform even better. It is worth the extra money compared to a regular fan because it can save you from using the air conditioner in many cases.

We have had the fan for about 1 month.
In the positives: it is beautiful and modern, it produces cool air, it has a remote control and ice packs that help to produce more coolness.

In the negatives:
It makes quite a lot of noise and of course it cannot replace the air conditioner in any case! This year we do not have an air conditioner and no matter how much the fan operates, the house is boiling. Ideally, it would be good for every house to have an air conditioner and the fan to be placed in a room.
