The king of power supplies! Although the larger AX1500i and AX1600i have been released, it remains in the top 3 of the best. I have it with Corsair's Sleeved Cables Red since 2014 and it hasn't skipped a beat! Whatever we say is not enough! In combination with the 7-year warranty, what else could one ask for?

It was purchased on sale for 330 Euros, a great price at the end of 2015. When it was assembled, it worked for about 15-20 days and then suddenly burned out, even tripping the circuit breakers. The power it was supposed to handle did not exceed 750 watts, and the calculation had a significant margin of error upwards (AMD FX9370 (225W) + Asus Radeon R9 390X OC (275 W) + 19 Fan coolemaster jetflo (4.8W each) = 91.2 W + Alphacool VPP665 single edition pump 23W = 614.2 W). The PC has two 3TB hard drives, one 4TB hard drive, one SSD, and an Asus Crosshair V Formula Z motherboard. I know that a passive cooler on the motherboard emits a lot of heat, but I cannot calculate how many watts are consumed by the motherboard and memory, so I estimate an additional 20-25% of the calculated power consumption of all other components. Luckily, nothing was damaged when it burned out. The company from which I purchased it immediately checked it and even asked if I wanted a refund or credit for purchasing other products, but since they had exactly the same one available and I needed a power supply, I asked for a replacement. I probably just got a faulty one. I have another Corsair with 950W that has been working for almost a decade now, and it has even stayed on overnight during heatwaves. I believe the new one will not disappoint me, and I will come back to give a better rating to the product.
