We are talking about a pump for 12 euros and I used it to change oil in a single-cylinder 250cc engine (it contains 1.5 liters of oil). It should be noted that the method of pumping the engine oil is NOT correct with such a pump (nothing to do with a professional one) but I had to do it due to a problem with the plug.
The pump is worth the money, it does exactly what you imagine, it has enough power and will make it easier for you if the oil is a little warm and you pour a little oil into the pump before using it. I placed the pump in the dipstick hole with the engine in a straight position and started. At some point, around 800 ml, the oil ran out and I had to turn the engine to the right where the dipstick is to pump the rest. After changing the filter, I put oil back in the engine. The dipstick reached full and I concluded that it did not pull 100 to 150 ml of old oil (expected). Finally, the next time I use it, I will replace the thin tube that draws the oil with a more flexible one from the market because at some point I believe it will break. Did you find this review helpful?First of all, because the description says "gasoline", ***under no circumstances***. It clearly states on the box and in the booklet that it is not suitable for any fuel (risk of fire or explosion), nor for water (low viscosity, it will burn).
For extracting car oil from the dipstick, it does its job perfectly fine. You warm up the engine a little or do it after a short drive, you put it in the dipstick and in a large container, you connect it and wait. With 10W40 lubricant, it took me about 7 minutes to drain 4 liters. I have done 3-4 changes without any problem.

Description is deceiving, it is not suitable to pump benzine (eurosuper fuel), for engine oil extraction it will slowly do the job. If you pour a bit of oil in the pump before first use, it can last much longer. Cable connectors are very cheaply made but the rest is OK. If you pump cold engine oil with it, it will take an eternity to do it, make sure the oil is warm (not burning hot), that will make the process way faster. Fix the output hose properly as it tends to "spit" the oil in the end when pump catches air- Effectiveness

However, anyone who buys it at the regular prices here will come out very satisfied with their purchase. I bought it to drain the oil from a Citroen Xsara engine. It did its job nicely and smoothly. Some say it drains with a slow flow. However, the oil should not be completely cold in order to drain it. If it is at 40 degrees, it flows better. And overall, it took no more than 2 minutes to drain it completely.

It is very honest for the money it costs.
I bought it to change the fluid in the power steering.
It sucks the oil perfectly and quickly without any issues.
There are some small details that I would like to mention.
The quality of the plastic is a bit poor, (compared to the equivalent oil pump sold sometimes by a well-known German supermarket and has a similar price).
The thick hose it has, if you use it in the socket that the pump sucks the fluids from, it easily breaks while pulling.
It's not something terrible, but this issue can be solved with a harder material hose.
The necklaces that come with it to tighten the two hoses are of poor quality, they don't screw with a screwdriver, it is preferable to tighten them with pliers.
An alternative solution that saves you trouble is to use hose clamps with a handle that can be tightened by hand.
Other than that, it is an honest pump that will do its job.
I won't go into the process of how fast it sucks and in what amount of time, etc., because if someone is looking for something fast, they should go for something of higher quality and at the same time more expensive.
Also, something else that I want to mention and clarify some things...
These pumps in no case replace the oil drain from the crankcase plug.
No oil pump can extract 100% of the oil from the engine, there is always a quantity that remains in the crankcase.
Those who write or say that they have removed all the oil from inside... that is not true, it is more likely that a larger amount of oil has been added during the service they have done and they think they have removed all the oil with this pump.
In no case does it replace the oil change by unscrewing the crankcase plug.

Did you find this review helpful?Decent for its price. It has metallic parts in the pump, so there is no worry about the dissolution of the plastics/elastics from the liquids. The 3 liters per minute for oil do not apply, maybe for fuel. For oil, it is around 0.5 liters per minute, at least with the provided hose, if a wider one is used, it struggles to pull. It easily manages to lift the oil one meter in reverse (with the small tube it has), but it takes time (which is logical)

Whenever I wash it at a gas station, there is a possibility of water entering the fuel tank from the pressure washer. I take it to the workshop and the mechanic tries to empty it by sucking on the rubber hose. But the mechanic never did anything about it, until a month ago when the problem was still not fixed despite my visit to him. So, I decided to buy this pump. I attached a thin plastic support for plants to the hose, securing it with insulation tape and leaving a 1cm margin so that the hose goes straight down to the bottom of the fuel tank. Afraid of draining the battery of my scooter, I connected it to power from a nearby car. The first surprise was that the pump started suctioning on its own. I must admit I didn't expect that. The second surprise was how quickly it filled up almost an entire 1.5-liter plastic bottle of soft drink with just a few seconds of operation. The third surprise was that even when shaking the hose, the pump was still able to suck in small water bubbles that remained. The water amounted to about 0.2 liters. Due to its specific weight, the water settled at the bottom of the bottle, and after letting it settle, I carefully emptied the bottle back into the fuel tank. The problem disappeared. The fourth surprise was that I became the hero of the day in the eyes of the children in the apartment building who had gathered in the courtyard. The pump worked minimally and perfectly satisfied the goal I had when purchasing it.
