This book is an edited record of a series of approximately twenty-five lessons that took place in an informal "theological workshop," more than once. These lessons began in 1987 at the Goulandris-Horn Foundation and were repeated over time either at the cultural society Alssos Grammaton kai Technon or at the cultural society Ainos. The latest development of these lessons took place in 2018-2019 at the Book and Culture space of En Plo publications, and this series forms the basis of this book.

The approach method to the text of the Apocalypse has a specific goal: to serve as a continuous catechesis lesson for adults through Johannine theology. After all, the text itself serves as a mystical catechesis for baptized believers who have been sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit at their baptism.
