  i used this cpu for 4 years with no deticated gpu doing everything from gaming to coding to virtualization. the fact that it could handle it all (albeit the performance being not so great) is fascinating. although i had to upgrade to a better setup for my needs, it did very well.. 100% recommend if youre looking for a cheap cpu and youre not planing to use a dgpu.

  It is the best 4-core that has passed through my hands.
  i3-10100. Graphics card GTX 1060 3GB overclocked. 16GB RAM 2666MHz. 240GB SSD, 960GB HDD. Windows 11 Home.
  It runs 8K videos without any lag, games like Need for Speed Buyback on ultra graphics, GTA V, Sims 3, 4 on ultra, Fortnite on max settings. I haven't installed anything else and it doesn't need anything else for gaming.
  It runs Photoshop effortlessly, and all of this on Windows 11. It would run even better on Windows 10.
  I didn't install Windows 11 myself, that's how I got it. I didn't buy it to play games, but it runs them flawlessly. I'm impressed.
  Without the graphics card, it wouldn't be able to run these games, but even the processor alone produces great visuals. It's not even a 4-core without the graphics card.
  It's definitely worth its price and more, because it performs comfortably.
  With the 6-core of the 8th generation.
  If I ever upgrade it, I'll consider getting the i9-10900. There's no reason to do it now, unless I find that processor at a very low price and of course, another graphics card, like a 2070+.
  The reason I haven't done it yet is because I have gaming consoles, and whatever I do on the computer, it fully satisfies me. I bought it in 2023 for 419 euros from Plaisio. It's the Turbo X version, and I added the graphics card and extra memory myself.

  We consider its price to be excessive as you pay nearly 40 euros more than the f just because it has integrated graphics.
  Almost as much as a gt 710 costs.
  And its graphics are nothing special, definitely better than the 710 but nowhere near the 1030 for example.

  As a standalone CPU, it is quite capable with 4 cores and 8 threads but the supported RAM speeds are significantly slower than those of Ryzen.
  However, it outperforms many older i5 and i7 processors while managing to be cheaper when new compared to them used!

  I have been using a system with this for 2 weeks now, without a card, only with its integrated graphics, and I am very satisfied and very pleased, guys. It is worth it for 100-140 euros and it is worth more than a Ryzen 3 with integrated graphics because it has better overall performance and is better in many things, and the UHD 630 is very capable and very good graphics and plays quite a few games at least 60 fps and it performs very well in browsing. My advice is that if you don't have a lot of money for a system, build one with this and 16 GB RAM, and in the future, if the prices of the cards drop, you can add one, but I am satisfied with the integrated one and if you combine the processor with a good budget card like 1650, 1660, and 1660 Super, it will run very well and you won't need any upgrades

  Well, this specific processor is really good for its price!!!!! I use it for gaming and with a Palit 1650 4GB on Fortnite, it reaches 120 fps on full graphics [with its own cooler]. In conclusion, it's worth it for a budget solution for all tasks. Temperature-wise, in Fortnite it stays around 40-50 degrees, and in almost all games except for heavy ones!

  edit: The processor remains excellent, but I changed its cooler [its own] and installed a Corsair Hydro Series H45, where it reaches 26 degrees at idle and the highest it has reached in games is 38!

  At 100 euros, it is very good. It is a decent gaming option in combination with the GTX1650super that I have. However, if you have a beastly graphics card, it may experience a slight bottleneck. For office use, it is perfect to meet the needs of the next 5 years (4 cores/8 threads...). Temperatures are very low with the stock cooler, so there is no immediate need for an aftermarket cooler. It also has integrated graphics, but personally, I didn't make use of them since I already had a graphics card.

  I set up the PC as economically as possible and instead of the 10500 that I planned to buy, I bought the 10100 with the intention of upgrading it later. However, I bought a z490 motherboard (which unfortunately does not support the 11th generation as I initially calculated) and 32GB of RAM at 3200, which runs smoothly at 3200 due to the motherboard. For the past 3 months, I have been using Photoshop, 30-40 tabs on Firefox, VMware with 2 running VMs simultaneously, and any other program I ran, and I have to say the following: AMAZING! I have no other words. I no longer plan on changing it as it is an incredible value for money! If I were to upgrade, I would only go for the 10700, but I still can't find a reason to do so no matter how hard I try. Recently, I also changed the CPU cooler to the NH-L9x65, which resulted in a 10-degree temperature difference and of course, no more noise! Even with the previous CPU cooler, it worked decently and without any issues. I can't say anything about gaming since I don't play games on the PC

  Very good processor even though I had it for much lower and that's because I have been using Intel since the skylake i5 era and back then the i3 was garbage. It is better than the i7 6700 of that time as it has better clocks and turbo boost 3. What can we say, i3 with 4 cores and 8 threads. Capable CPU even for heavy gaming with the appropriate GPU. I got it for a cheap office PC since the equivalent AMD went up in price and I didn't regret it at all. It comfortably plays 4K videos with HDR at 60fps without any lag with the integrated graphics. I haven't tested it in games but based on the videos circulating, I'm sure it performs decently with its own graphics. €116 CPU when the equivalent i7 6700 was around €400.

  I have been using this processor for about a month. I use it for Photoshop and Lightroom Classic, which it handles easily. I deduct one star because the Intel platform is not upgradable compared to AMD. In a few years, you will need to get a new processor and motherboard, while with AMD you can go forward and backward with 3-4 generations of Ryzen. Also, keep in mind that in order to overclock the RAM to anything above 2666 Mhz, you will need a Z490 motherboard, which costs more than the processor! The 4c/8t of the 10100 are satisfactory and do not remind of i3 performance, but rather resemble the performance of an 8th generation i5... in this situation, where AMD processors (and the graphics cards they require, since most do not have integrated graphics) have reached new heights, Intel is a bit behind. Putting aside the corporate aspect, this specific processor offers plenty of computing power, which combined with 16+ GB of RAM, will leave you satisfied if you have photo editing, relatively light video editing, web design, graphic design, etc. in mind (and with a graphics card, it is powerful for gaming too!)

  Competition with AMD (Ryzen) has led Intel to offer us an i3 with 4 cores and 8 threads for only 100-110 euros. Overall, it performs exceptionally well, from gaming to tasks related to my school programs... it's extremely fast with low temperatures of 21-23 degrees and integrated graphics that can handle playing League of Legends at 1080p on very high settings with 120-140fps

  I will simply say that it is equivalent to the i7 7700.
  My opinion is to get a z490 motherboard for 2 reasons:
  A. The socket 1200 will also be for the 11th generation Intel, but it will only be compatible with the z490 chipset (not H410 or B460).
  B. You will have the option for XMP profile in the memory.
  So, if you have 3200mhz memory, for example, you will be able to evaluate them and not have them downgraded to the 2666mhz that the CPU sees.
  Overall, a very good processor at a perfect price... Another cooler is a must for me, I bought a Coolermaster hyper H412R, easy installation, quiet, and you can see the difference compared to the stock.

  I believe it is by far the best choice you can make for a budget PC with good performance. I combined it with Gigabyte H410M S2H, G.Skill 16GB RAM, BeQuiet 500W PSU, and a basic SSD. Such a system with 300 euros easily covers the average user for 3-5 years, and then you can upgrade to an i7 (same generation) when they become cheaper, giving you another 5 years. Of course, I do not recommend it for those who want to do video editing, run heavy applications, or for heavy gaming.

  As for the negatives, for now, I will only mention the cooler, which although it is silent during normal operation, when the CPU reaches 4.3GHz, the noise briefly increases and it is a bit annoying. I will come back with temperature information when I conduct tests.

  Finally, why choose it over the Ryzen 3 3100 at the same price:
  - It reaches a speed of 4.3 compared to Ryzen's 3.9.
  - It has integrated graphics, which means it saves you from another expense if you don't want to buy a graphics card, as at these prices we are talking about budget PCs and every penny counts.
