  I have the Miele Cat and Dog for 21 years and I have only changed this specific filter 5 times. It depends on the usage of the vacuum cleaner, usually I use it during the winter months when I have carpets. It is excellent and when you make the change, you will notice the difference in the quality of the air it releases in the house.   I bought it for the Miele Complete C3 vacuum cleaner to avoid odors. Very good filter! It retains odors, has the Timestrip that indicates when it needs to be replaced, it is replaced slowly. The air emitted by the vacuum cleaner does not smell compared to the previous paper filter it had.

  UPDATE - Saturday 15/07/2023
  Today I turned on the vacuum cleaner and at some point, it started whistling. My mind went to a full bag or a clogged suction hose. I changed the bag and put it on max so that if the hose was clogged, it would unclog, but nothing changed. I checked the filter and it was slightly out of place, and I noticed that the rubber of the filter, so that it fits well in the special slot, was not straight. I took it out, straightened the rubber, put it back in, and the vacuum cleaner stopped whistling. The downside of the situation is that I changed the bag for free in the vacuum cleaner while it was still empty. The good thing about the situation is that the problem with the vacuum cleaner was solved without any hassle. Also, due to this specific incident, I deduct one star because having a problem with a vacuum cleaner filter in less than 2 months is not ideal. At least it was something simple and not something complicated.

  Very good filter!! I have had the vacuum cleaner for at least 5 years and where the bag is, it is spotless and doesn't smell at all when it is in operation. And I should note that I don't change it on time, because its price is quite "steep" and it is a deterrent reason for its purchase, but I highly recommend it without reservation!
